He is absolutely world-class and would make our defence unbeatable. He's more talented than anything we have and might even become one of the best in the world. He's exactly the type of player Mourinho needs and wants! Whatever the price make it happen Woodward!

Never been impressed by him tbh and I still remember when Bale blazed past him. This cant possibly be real we already have 5 CBs.
 
Hope this isn't true.

With no DM, no striker signed we really don't need to prioritize another CB.

We have Bailly and Lindelof to start, with plenty of back up currently. We could sell Smalling or Jones and still not need to sign another CB.
 
Hmmmm I wonder if Joses plan is to actually fill his back 7-8 with CB's instead of wingers and whomever else he could find to form the red wall.
Or maybe he is considering a change of tact to a back 3 Bartra and Lindelof both being semi decent on the ball and easily push in to midfield.

Inspires the same kind of "anticipation" as the prospect of signing Joe Hart, I'm afraid.
 
I have a colleague who's a Dortmund fan and a massive wum. He came across this rumor and he keeps banging about our supposed interest. In my opinion this guy is average and wouldn't get a game instead any of our CB, they are all better. A case of overrating a player from another club while underrating our own.
