Lingard won ManUtd official player of the month.

Jesse Lingard has been voted Manchester United's Player of the Month by supporters after enjoying a sensational December.

As always, fans voted in their thousands in our poll on Twitter and Lingard has emerged as the overwhelming winner with 85 per cent of the final tally, while Juan Mata received 12 per cent and Phil Jones came third.

For the first time this season, the winner of the fans' accolade didn't pick up a Man of the Match award – which is also voted for by fans on social media when the Reds pick up three points – during the month.

Lingard, been a good month for Shaw as well.

I'd say that Shaw has been decent. Not great, but decent.
But by Shaw's very poor standards, I guess you could say that it was a good month.

Lingard on the other hand has been great. He got the game by the scruff of the neck and drove forward. That solo goal he did recently was unbelievable and had Messi done that, everybody would be drooling over it, saying that Messi is now back to his very best.
