As important as Europa League is to us, I don't foresee us putting out a team of Onana plus 10 kids. Of course we need to prioritise Champions League qualification, but Amorim will know that when you're Man United you can't just lose 8-0 to Wolves, even if it's something of a dead rubber - risking defeat is one thing, but with United losing heavily means being a national laughing stock, feeding the media narrative of plumbing new depths of crisis and creating a toxic atmosphere of intense criticism for the young players themselves.
For the starting line-up I'd expect to see a mix of second stringers, the odd first choice and a sprinkling of kids. I am expecting to see much more of the kids in the league, but I expect many of those appearances to be coming from the bench, rather than throwing a bunch of total novices into the first team starting line up together.
I expect the likes of Dalot, Fernandes and Casemiro to be rested - key players who played the full 120 minutes on Thursday; maybe Maguire too.
Eriksen and Mount seem like safe bets to come in - first team squad players who haven't had a load of minutes. Probably Lindelöf too. Mainoo I am less sure of as Amorim was talking post-match on Thursday like he is still nursing an injury so I feel like he might start on the bench again. Similar for Shaw since he is basically always nursing an injury and he played 80+ minutes on Thursday but in his case I'm not sure who else will plug the holes in the back three. Heaven seems likely to come in if he is fit.
Maybe Obi as an outside shot to start upfront.
I can see the starting 11 being something like:
Onana
Heaven, Lindelof, Shaw
Mazraoui, Ugarte, Eriksen, Amass
Garnacho, Mount
Hojlund
