That was one of the worst halves in years at home, come on. First of all, WBA had one huge chance and then a very dangerous situation on a corner where we were lucky they didn’t have a man in the middle. We had a Lukaku-chance, that’s about it. I get that, but why does he or any player think they are entitled to play every minute? It is only 2 games afterall.

I am sure had he accepted the contract he would have been given more chances to shine.

I doubt he thinks that but he probably feels there's mixed messages with the club offering him a five year contract yet him only being given 13 mins off the bench against Sevilla after the game was lost and not getting a single minute against Swansea when we were winning 2:0 after 20 minutes. Not really the sign of telling a player they're wanted.
