Good game for our 2nd string (plus Vidic and Berbatov) against a strong Spurs side (in midfield and attack at least).

Great win. 2 fantastic goals in the first half and a mature 2nd half performance to get the win and go through.
De Laet certainly improved throughout the game, still not what you call convincing but had some bright moments, though the inexperience showed in the first half though.

All our youngsters had an all round great match, unlucky for Obertan too meet a top form Bale. Certainly Spurs Motm for me. Won the ball, defended well and attacking wise was top draw. Give Credit to Spurs, they played good attacking football though they could do better with their chances, PIG/Vidic/Brown/De Laet all had good games. G.Neville was skinned so many times that I stopped counting.
Spurs should take one good thing from this: they didn't go ahead then lose the game. Progress I suppose.
