No I think that we've played quite well. Sloppy goal to concede and not as good as Saturday so far but there's a long way to. And as long as we win I don't care how it comes about.

Which is basically the problem. It's not really his fault, it's just that a winger who can't skin defenders, whipping in hundreds of high crosses, isn't the player you want to be your best performer against Stoke. The best aerial team in the league.

Only ourselves to blame for the goal, we gifted Stoke the opportunity to come back into this game. Wasn't a facial injury and tbf, the player barely touched Fellaini so the ref made the right call. We went to sleep and the defence didn't do enough to stop the attack. Hell of a finish too.

We've had enough chances to put this game to bed (Herrera & Fellaini) already so more of the same in the second half and we should turn this into another win. Stoke seem pretty dispirited tonight so we should force the issue.

To be honest, I think we've looked alright - not great, but alright (better than at any time last year). Herrera has been oddly shit, but Fellaini has been decent, although still occasionally wayward.

Apart from that run from Bojan that led to the goal, I don't think Stoke offered any threat at all and were merely very organised in that half. Not understanding any of this "that was coming" "goal was deserved" bollocks when they scored.

We should go on and win this. Obviously we might have a nightmare in defence and concede on the break, but my main fear would be playing out the 1-1. Hopefully Louis will give them the fuel they need to step it up a gear and turn that possession into more chances.
