I'm nervous but excited at the same time. We have a great opportunity to progress and the CL is very open this year. I want the chance to face a proper European powerhouse in the next round. Sevilla are a poor side and we can get past them easily if we play like we did on Saturday.

If Lingard is out wide, he is in to do a job on someone. I want to see him in a free-er role. He can be very dangerous.

Hmm flight delayed. Might actually be able to watch this live. Too bad I’m in NOLA where they’d rather talk for hours about extending Drew Brees’ contract

I thought one of Spurs or United would go out so I hope my punt falls on the right side of the tracks.

But what really makes me nervous is that old sage, JG Ballague, tipping us to win.

He's sort of going with flow, form-wise, and everyone knows in a CL knockout tie that's not a huge factor. It's about keeping your nerve on the night, cutting out mistakes and taking your chances.

Let's hope Ballague is right for once.

Could be Rashford on the right of a 4-2-3-1, Lingard center and Sánchez left.

McTominay and Pogba both on the bench, who the hell saw that happening?

Was surprised to see Pogba playing in the leaked lineups. He didn't even train fully yesterday, would have been risky to start him.

Yes. It's gutting to go out to the likes of Milan, Real and Bayern as before but the real sucker punches are when you go out to teams that you SHOULD have beaten: Porto, Leverkusen, Monaco.

Edit: I actually looked back, and I think those three times are the only times United have gone out of the CL to weaker opposition.. maybe Dortmund in 1997 too?

That's a very interesting midfield combo, but a very direct front four. The bench is very strong and I don't think Jose would have any problem throwing in Pogba, Martial and Mata if United are chasing a goal or late winner.

Happy with that. Solid in midfield with Matic and Fellaini, while Fellaini always provides the goal threat from midfield too. Pace and dynamism in abundance in attack. Rashford definitely left, with sanchez as the 10, and lingard roaming IMO.

Bench if needed can change the game, but I'd imagine we'll see Martial for rashford at some point and pogba for lingard or something to shore up the result, or for fellaini if we need more.

My guess behind Lingard starting on, what I assume is right midfield, is to look help Valencia with Correa, who was Sevilla's main attacking threat in the first leg.

Chubby Shaw doesn't even make the bench. It tells you what Mourinho expects of the game that Darmian does instead.

I don't want to negative but why on earth are starting Fellaini over Scott. I've always been sceptic of Scott actually until the weekend where I felt like he arrived as one of our proper players and now he's been dropped for a Fellaini whose just returned from injury?

How must he be feeling right now? Utterly bizarre decision.

Have to say I’m very disappointed in Fellaini over McTominay or Pogba.

Yeah, but is Lingard, “the crazy/fake rightback”, better at it than Mata, who did the same against Liverpool? Maybe Mata isn't fresh.

I can understand why Fellaini plays but his fitness is a problem. The plan is to surprise Sevilla with his height and physicality from setpieces. With that height in the team Sevilla will struggle definitely but I expected either McTominay or Pogba to start as well. Not sure why Mata has been dropped either. There's plenty of energy in that front four to do the job so I'm not worried.

Bit surprised at Mata being dropped to be honest, has played very well in the last two matches.

Apparently, Kjaer's supposed to be good on the air.

Does it? Darmian can play either fullback position with Lindelof playing CB or RB if needed. There's also the FA Cup match at the weekend for Shaw to feature in.

Fellain can hold onto the ball further up the pitch, Scott plays deeper so it tells you how he sees the game going.
