I think it's just a case of we were a steady top 4 side for 2 years in a row, and then he was meant to be a push for the title and it backfired, whether because of the dynamic changing with him coming in or whatever else. But also he's 37, doesn't necessarily suit some styles of play and is essentially a poacher right now. Even if he's a poacher who can score plenty, it doesn't mean we're better as a team.

Worrying lack of awareness tbhI'd keep Ronaldo, but use him a bit more sparingly eg coming on if we are losing/ in games which play most to his strengths, let the kids train with him as well and learn from him - his positioning/ technique/awareness etc
