Manchester United vs Liverpool (Tue 12th July, 14:00 UK time) | BANGKOK CENTURY CUP CHAMPIONS

The best bit is the manager saw all the mistakes and wants to improve.
We got lucky getting him.

Get the players in and we should be good this season.
Why do you think many, myself included were losing our shit, worried that we would go for Poch. We have a manager with top credentials and not some one elses flop/cast-off.

He lost possession so many times. A pretty worrying performance.
For someone with smaller build, he did/does not use his agility, quick turns and quick feet more but instead tried to bulldoze through two giants CBs. Kind of weird.

It’s been that long we don’t even know how to celebrate a trophy.
Yes yes I know it’s on pre season but we are winning the lot.

Life under Erik eh?

Liked the fitness, work rate. Impressive that Uniteds B team beat a first choice Liverpool 1-0 in the final 30 minutes. Bailly especially in beast mode..

Roll on game two of the pre season..

Martial MOTM.
I hope that gives his confidence a boost
. In fact, its only pre-season but the confidence boost for everyone if we have a good pre-season would be inestimable. I've said it before, we have good players, they just need better direction and improved confidence. We aren't going to rip the Premiership apart, but at least there are shoots of growth

You can tell he was worried about getting smashed by VVD when receiving the ball. Wasn’t comfortable playing that position at all.

Preseason friendly or not - THIS FELT NICE.

Everybody looked improved, except for Rashford. He is still unable to find the back of the net 1:1 with a goalkeeper. What kind of forward is that? I don't know if EtH can still improve it, but if not - homeboy needs to go. We cannot just carry him as a club just because of his celebrity status and Instagram following. FFS, we need to play football and we need players who can.

I have to say, Charlie Savage is one tidy player.

Loved him! If EtH can fully develop him to top levels, we will have one amazing homegrown player!

I’m glad McFred are starting because it will show EtH clearly how average they are (even if only first game of pre season) other thing I’m noticing is it will take weeks to get his game plan down as at the moment we look exactly the same, his new players (when arrived) will find it much more easy to adapt though. Also Sancho is clearly more comfortable on the left so I hope in the long run he will go back over there and stay that side, maybe if we get Antony in, our wide forwards will be sorted. Rashford is the odd man out for me, not really great in any position. Can’t wait for us to have a real quality midfield two, we’d be so much better.

Enjoying the match though I’m sure plenty more goals at both ends are coming.

Hopefully you noticed a difference by the time the final whistle came.

Plus none conceded!

So this is what liverpool look like before the inhalers kick in?

I can't believe I actually saw Martial bring down a ball with his back to goal and lay it off to someone. And it led to a goal.

Give it a rest. It’s the first pre season game and we won 4-0 v Liverpool

Let’s not use it to further an agenda against Rashford eh

Amad, Malacia and Elanga pretty poor in that second. Van de Beek also non existent. I am, however, already confident that Iqbal is a more accomplished footballer than McTominay. Savage too, very comfortable on the ball.

Yeah, Iqbal caught my eye, very good on the ball.

Poch FC has a sizeable following on the caf.
