Manchester United vs Liverpool (Tue 12th July, 14:00 UK time) | BANGKOK CENTURY CUP CHAMPIONS

Wow, that might be the fastest I’ve seen Shaw run in a while. Very encouraging.

Hopefully we get Eriksen & FdJ signed soon so we can have a functioning midfield.

Initial impressions:

Pressing higher & in numbers
Spending less time on the ball & moving it forward earlier
Leaving a hell of a lot of space in behind if Liverpool beat the press
Runners! We’re making runs!

both teams look a bit shambolic to me, but it's preseason and to be expected

i like that we're moving the ball much quicker though

I know it’s preseason but are we past calling Diaz unlucky in front of goal? At what stage do we consider him wasteful?

I’m glad McFred are starting because it will show EtH clearly how average they are (even if only first game of pre season) other thing I’m noticing is it will take weeks to get his game plan down as at the moment we look exactly the same, his new players (when arrived) will find it much more easy to adapt though. Also Sancho is clearly more comfortable on the left so I hope in the long run he will go back over there and stay that side, maybe if we get Antony in, our wide forwards will be sorted. Rashford is the odd man out for me, not really great in any position. Can’t wait for us to have a real quality midfield two, we’d be so much better.

Enjoying the match though I’m sure plenty more goals at both ends are coming.

Is it just me or does Rashford look a bit taller?

A lot of sideways passing, a lot of people here are sure to be mad.

Battering their first choice lineup with McTom bossing it.

We're gonna win the lot this year

OK maybe not
