Really pleased to see us have some kind of coherent plan for how to play, but my worry is that we are seriously lacking guile. Of our front four none are seriously creative players, though that said both Rashford and Martial have the dribbling skills to create openings. But for the most part we still lack what it takes to get beyond the edge of the box. Without Pogba we would be in absolutely bereft of passing creativity. I've seen quite a few posters over the summer arguing that what we need is a goalscoring midfielder - I'd be inclined to say that what we need far more is to replace one or two of that front four - probably James and/or Lingard - with a quick-thinking forward with who can pick a pass. Very early days for James to say the least but on initial glimpses I'm not seeing anything that's going to help raise the level of our attack.
Can see why Inter are after Lukaku, he'll eat that sort of delivery for breakfast.
