Fulham Football Club (also known as The Cottagers or The Whites), is a professional association football club based in Fulham, West London, England. Fulham were formed in 1879 as Fulham St Andrew's Church Sunday School F.C., founded by worshipers (mostly adept at cricket) at the Church of England on Star Road, West Kensington (St Andrew's, Fulham Fields). Fulham's mother church still stands today with a plaque commemorating the team's foundation. They won the West London Amateur Cup in 1887 and, having shortened the name from Fulham Excelsior to its present form in 1888, they then won the West London League in 1893 at the first attempt.

Fulham started playing at their current ground at Craven Cottage in 1896, their first game against now defunct rivals Minerva. Fulham are one of the oldest established clubs in southern England currently playing professional football, though there are many non-league sides like Kent side Cray Wanderers who are several decades older. The club gained professional status on 12 December 1898, the same year that they were admitted into the Southern League's Second Division. They were the second club from London to turn professional, following Arsenal, then named Royal Arsenal 1891.

After suffering relegation to The Championship in 2013, Fulham have been on a road to recovery and were promoted to the Premier League on 26 May 2018, by winning 1–0 in the 2018 EFL Championship play-off Final against Aston Villa. Fulham fans consider their main rivals to be Chelsea, followed by Queens Park Rangers. They also have rivalries with other London clubs, including Brentford and Crystal Palace.

I’d be tempted to bring Eriksen in for Hojlund. Team sort of picks itself now.

    Onana
De Ligt - Maguire - Yoro
    Mazraoui - Bruno - Ugarte - Dalot
    Eriksen - Zirkzee - Garnacho

Shall be losing this. Reckon we might shithouse thorough a few more rounds in Europe though.

Garnacho to be dropped off the squad for this game for walking down the tunnel after he was subbed tonight?
Did he actually do that? Ffs... looks like his attitude problem isn't 100% gone, if he did that.

Zirkzee was GASSED by the end of that game. Don't really see him starting this one, Think Garnacho may have to go full game, Hojlund starts and Zirkzee subs for Hojlund at 65th minute...

Fulham surely start as favourites for this one... praying we can scrape a one-goal win but if we start slowly as usual, we're done for

Would like to see this too. Hojlund can't and shouldn't start games for the time being.

But we'll 99.9% see the same line-up with Maz coming in for Dalot. Unfortunately we're stuck with the same bunch till the end of the season.

Garnacho can get fecked. If I was Amorim I'd rather start one of the youth players over him.
We pretty much need Garnacho though due to having no one else available with any degree of pace or threat running with the ball. Having lost Dorgu for this one and already lost Amad.

If we leave out Hojlund (form) and / or Garnacho (disciplinary), then the only senior players we're left with promoting from the bench are the slow CM's Eriksen and Casemiro.

People will say 'play the kids'. Which I guess is Obi for #9 and, for that kind of player (threat running with the ball) to replace Garnacho, we're only looking at Moorhouse as an option. But we all know the managers don't just throw in any kids who haven't already been on their first team radar. They'll use them as bench fillers for the matchday squad, but how often have any of those get any minutes? So I can't see Moorhouse getting on.

It'll be established first team squad starters again. So without Dorgu, we'll be opting for Mazraoui. But that just leaves Lindelof, Casemiro and Eriksen. So we're not really in any kind of position to leave out both Hojlund and Garnacho. One maybe, as we can move players like Zirkzee or Fernades further forward.

But we're just so light on attacking options that I think we need to be going down the route with Garnacho of - 'go out there and put on a performance and make up for that poor reaction to being subbed' rather than dropping him from the matchday squad. As we just have so few options to use instead.

Yeah that's the only issue, the lack of options. Will be intersting if Amorim sticks with his no-nonsense approach and drops him at the expense of the team, or if he gives a little and plays him.

No chance of Mount or Mainoo for this one? I've not heard anything about their injury recoveries in a while, surely they cant be far off.

Not really expected to be back this season, certainly not in close future. Mainoo anyway, Mount no set date, but nowhere to be seen since November/December? What's the point even if he comes back it's for a moment.

I don't think I expect too many changes. Mazraoui will obviously replace Dorgu, the rest is a bit up in the air depending on fitness. We do have a tricky run coming up now where we play Fulham, Real Sociedad, Arsenal, and then Sociedad again. I'd hope we only make a couple of changes here and if we're going to make a few more, it should really be against Arsenal. Picking up the 4 points in the last two league games should allow the focus to turn to more to the cups.

I'm sick of seeing Zirkzee in the no.10 role, he just can't do it. Not that I think he can play no.9 either... But if he's going to play it should be either him or Hojlund as the striker, it can't be both now. I'd rather we just played Casemiro or Eriksen as I still think they're more mobile than Zirkzee and they can't run either.

    Bayindir
    De Ligt Maguire Yoro
    Mazraoui Ugarte Eriksen Dalot
    Bruno Garnacho
    Zirkzee

I think Hojlund probably needs some games off but I won't be too bothered who starts up front. Sub on Casemiro, Obi, and Lindelof. Probably for Eriksen, Zirkzee, and De Ligt if the luxury presents itself.

This is what I’d go for, but I’d expect Bruno to play deep and Eriksen more advanced, based on what Amorim usually does.

Hard to see where the goals are going to come from. Need something from Bruno or Garnacho.

Think Ruben should be a bit more pragmatic, ask the team to play deeper and have more spaces behind their defenders.

IF we could win this game, I assume that would be a massive step into the direction of staying in PL and maybe be more relaxed until the rest of the season.

I would rotate a bit anyway

    ----------------------------------------------------Onana------------------------------------------------------
    --------------------------------Yoro------------Maguire------------Lindelof---------------------------
    Mazraoui---------------------Casemiro-------------Bruno-----------------------------------Dalot
    -----------------------------------------Zirkzee------------Eriksen-----------------------------------------

We could lose our remaining games and stay in the PL. Neither Leicester nor Ipswich are gaining 16 points from the remaining 11 games.

    I don't understand that bit.

This game is an FA Cup match, so winning it (or losing it) has little bearing on our chances of staying in the PL.

And because it's a knockout cup game, it's up there with the remaining EL matches as amongst the most important ones left. So we definitely shouldn't be rotating and bringing in Lindelof, and both of Casemiro and Eriksen. One or the other, maybe. Not
both. And definitely not Lindelof when we have Yoro, Maguire and De Ligt available (and Mazraoui should be ahead of him, in games when Dorgu is available for WB).

My bad, I thought it was PL :D

Don't underestimate the effects playing with 10 men for an entire half will have on the current bunch.

I worry for likes of Ugarte and Zirkzee.

Not sure how but Amorim will need to rotate.

You'd think so, but who the heck do we have to take his place? haha.

Maybe Bruno in front 3 with Eriksen back with Ugarte (or I guess the other way around)
Casemiro given a start, sure where could that go wrong?

Hope I'm wrong but I Can't see past FA Cup exit this Sunday, Fulham good on their travels this season, have accumulated the same amount of points away as Forest,Brighton,Palace,Bournemouth who have all won in Old Trafford this season.

Please please please no Zirkzee and Hojlund. Obi or Garnacho to br given a go up top pleeeassseeee

Garnacho to be dropped off the squad for this game for walking down the tunnel after he was subbed tonight?
Got my doubts as we are so short of fit players at the moment. Think this needs a bit of tact from Ruben, by all means show his displeasure and then let’s be done with it. Garnacho’s response to being subbed was understandable imo. He was giving the team a lot more than Hojlund was.

How are people predicting a draw it is the FA cup has to go to penalties no?
