I like that we have somebody winning the balls in the air now in midfield

Bloody trigger & flag-happy officials yet again.

Well don lads. That was fun. The two subs really lit our game up. Playing against 10 helped.

I did really expect us to win that by more tbh, but a win is a win, looked a lot better in the second half, especially when Januzaj came on.

Good result in the end. A tale of two halves, absolutely fantastic in the second, and Fellaini and Januzaj were a fantastic breath of fresh air.

Biggest loser today? Not Palace, but Reapersoul

Solid second half. Adnan was a breath of freshair. Fellaini had a few touches and looked good. Carrick is just sex. Rooney got a full game under his belt. All positives today.

we're going to win the lot this year and adnan will score 5 goals in the final of the champions league past messi, who will be in goal due to a bizarre circumstance. I have seen the future.

Professional comfortable job. On another day that would have been a 4 or 5 nil job.

We move onto midweek.

Comfortable performance from the team and we were in control of the match from start to finish. Obviously we could have scored a few more, especially in the first half. Van Persie had a glorious chance from Rooney's pass but hit the cross bar. Our wingers were rather wasteful too..namely Valencia.

Not really happy with the way Young seems to be simulating so often these days. He is getting a bad reputation for this and even the penalty that we won was a little soft to be honest. His crossing seems to have improved though and that's his best asset really. Had a good chance to score when he cut infield and was one on one with the keeper.

I suppose the entire team isn't in top form yet and hence why we are not really scoring a lot of goals in open play. Its nothing new though and we've had this problem even back when Ronaldo was around. We do tend to start off slow in the early season and peak at the right times though. Nonetheless, we still got the 3 points and it was nice to see both Januzaj and Fellaini get a runout. Both impressed and it seems like Moyes is really spoiled for options.

Our squad is huge and lets not forget we still have players like Zaha and Kagawa who have yet to be given a chance to impress. Both I feel have a good shot of breaking the first 11 at some point this season and moving forwards in the future. Neither Valencia or Young were very good today and you have to feel that Nani/Januzaj/Zaha/Kagawa could all do better than what we saw today.

Important 3 points for us and with a tough match against citeh coming up we have done well. The league seems much tougher than last year as a result of the evenly distributed revenue sharing for the mid-table clubs. Just look at what happened to citeh and chelski today. Every point is going to count and this was an important 3 points for Moyes and the team.

Actually it could pefectly ended in a 0-0 just like Shitty. We got kinda lucky with the ref.

We havent scored from open play in the last 3? games.

I find this idea that a free kick is somehow worth less than a goal from open play a bit stupid. Yes, we might have been lucky with the penalty. But the free kick was a clear one, won by a lovely Januzaj run. And the goal came from its excellent execution, which is at least as difficult as most goals from open play.
