even so United had ample chances to score, RVN, OGS and Giggs should have scored. The game should have been done and dusted a lot earlier.

Good point. We should go with Scholes in the Prem and Seba in Europe. We can always augment Seba into the mix if Scholes has a bad loss of form or gets injured. It would also take a significant amount of pressure off of Seba's shoulders if he was the clear backup in the Prem.

which we should use to our advantage. Drop Veron deep, play the ball away from him, out wide. This should also be giving the free "hole" forward a lot more space to wok with. Its not like their playing with 13 men and 2 extra on Veron.

i was thinking that seba should have played around the centre circle, wonder why he didn't.. plus, i'd like to see both becks and giggs stay out wide, when they come in the middle, (becks inparticular)it gets very crowded.. which isn't good.

Thats the point of the squad, Scholes can also play in the CL up front with Veron behind, but just rest Veron on saturdays and play Ole.

well we deserved the victory.. and justice was done..

altho home games are pain to watch.. away teams just come to shut up shop, they either pack the defence or midfield..

Too many times when the play was switched to the right, there was only Gary there with no one to pass to down that wing. Why are we a year on still having the same problems?

Well becks should know his duties, i know he's the captain ATM, but he doesn't have to be playmaker aswell.. he works hard, but always pisses me off, when he spoils the shape of the team.. A few times today he took the ball from Veron, in the centre, and started to act like a playmaker... we need width!

Don't blame Becks, blame Alex for that, its totally intentional.

Agreed. Didn't do Everton any good though.

To give credit where credit's due, after the break they did come forward a bit more. The Chinese defender Li Tieh was actually spraying passes on a few occasions.

Everton looked to have turned the corner. The chinese bloke and nigerian geezer look very good at the back. Reckon they could end up top ten this year.

Nice game, though Verón was really poor and Beckham seems to have abandoned the right flank for good, which is really bad for the team.

I was impressed by that kid Rooney. An English Vieri in the making?

green and Jimmy Armfield up to heir usual but you could practicall hear the wind coming out of Armfields partic at the end ..quote " ONE or TWO streaming out of OT and they missed the goals " , he was rreally pissed off that we won ...Green , usual rant about Veron being a waste of money and having a side swipe at fergie ........but soo lovely to hear him having to commentate on our goals

That last one from Scholes was an absolute fecking cracker

Everton played well today, spot-on tactics from Moyes. You can see that he's always concentrating on aspects of the game that his players can improve on, and it's probably tough on him that Everton lost everything in the dying minutes. But great job to United, we just never do give up! :D

Ha,ha,ha...BEAUTIFUL!

I hope the 3 late goals don't paper over the fact that we were cack for the large part of that game. Far too many passes were going astray, and as somebody pointed out earlier, Giggs and Beckham were always coming inside leaving us with no outlets out wide. For the life of me I couldn't understand why we kept lumping it up front or crossing aimlessly in the air. If we won 10% of the aerial challenges I'd be surprised.

Still, we got the 3 points.

Oh yeah, and is anyone else getting pissed off when Beckham goes into orbit nearly every time anybody tries to tackle him? Stay on your bloody feet, man.

What's all this negative shit about Beckham, he ran his nads off last night unlike bald Argentinians ever do

If he was in the center trying to be mr Playmaker it's probably cos there wasn't anyone else that can fit the bill

I don't think it's a simple as that. Everton packed the defence and midfield and had to do a lot of ball chasing. They tired in the last 10 minutes and that gaves more space.

We were more than in control of the game before Ole came on for Seba. I think some of the cricism he's getting for last nite is a bit harsh. his movement was good. He did a lot of work off the ball. He dragged their midfield round the pitch and left space for Giggsy and Becks.

I agree. We should also have a look at the missed chances when we were playing 4-5-1. Lets be honest, if we took all our chances we could have been 3 up by half time.
