[ thanks mods ;) ]

No RIO tonight which shouldn't really be a problem as gaz is back and JOS has another chance to impress again.
Ruud might stuggle to make the line up i hear [???] ... a shame but Scholes is looking cofortable in his more forward role and OLE is .........bloody great so i aint too worried.

any other news ?

You really think he'll do that? Ole's done well last time around, he would have started had there been any problem with Ruud.

The whole game is broadcasted on the French TV...The first United game I can see this year. Come on boys !

... i suppose your right

I see we're adding some variety to our corners. Good to see. Lovely move just then started by a backheel from Giggs.

Looked a bit wobbly defensively.

Agreed, Neil, only the final score counts in the standings, but it's more fun when lightning strikes early. The longer you leave an inferior side in the match, the more confident they grow, the more dangerous it gets. Kill them off early in the match. A dead Rhino does not attack.

Beckham doesn't appear to be playing on the right at all. In fact Giggsy just did a cross from the right. This side doesn't have fixed positions at all.

I agree, pressing forward for the goal, looking a bit exposed when we do, and not managing to fashion clear cut chances. Don't really know why though.

On FanZone both commmentators were slagging off Heskey! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

just confused as to how you got 2 urls out of one,
and for bad language im not going to tell you how to get it manually.

fuch it half time allready.

Beckham is doing well in the center, but the problem is we've got very little coming off from the wings, as Giggs hasn't done muc on the left while Becks is rarely on the right.

Sounds like Everton are working hard, as they did when they played Villa (on the box) a few weeks back. They tired as that game wore on, so we should be turning up the heat from 60 minutes onwards.

Alan Green reckons we're shit, especially Veron. Always nice to get a Liverpool fan's perspective on a game.

A slightly flat display, mainly due to Everton defending well and not being afraid to attack us. Beckham's been up for it, albeit not on the right, though his accuracy hasn't been very good. Veron's not managed to get going, which is a disappointment. Giggsy's been in and out of the game, but does seem to be slower than he was. Ruud's looked likely to score though. And Scholes has been creative. O'Shea and Blanc have been good after a shaky start.

No news from the Eastern front then?

It's been like this for 18 months now.

TRM.

Thank you Neil. Why is so feckin' difficult for BBC Radio 5 to come up with some objective comment ?

Coronation Street's over now, so I'm off to watch the second half on Sky... :D
