I have changed my mind , looked at it again, the ref got it spot on.
At first I thought Gotze was going to win a penalty and then Robben's shot. That glorious 8 mins seems a long time ago now
the thing is, his only other option is being slaughtered as a brave man. it's by now largely proven by example that deep unyielding defending with numbers is most effective in stifling pep, trying to be brave against guardiola's teams usually just ends up like wembley did in 2011.
