Manchester United versus Arsenal at Old Trafford this Sunday, kick off at 4

1-0 victory in the 90th is the same as a 6-0 drubbing when discussing points.

When was the last time we started the same 11 two games in a row?

I've got to say - if United can't win by at least 3 clear goals today, it'll be a bad sign for the rest of the season for you lot.

Hardly. Arsenal are still dangerous. A bad day out is not indicative of the rest of our season.

we need a 7-0 to go above city in the league, i don't think that will happen.

United line-up is 231 days younger than Arsenal's.

I know of Coquelin but this is a huge game for him and a massive responsibility.

I'm so surprised by how weak that Arsenal team is but also more surprised that we are unchanged. We really have to attack Arsenal and take full advantage and with 4-4-2 I think this is exactly what Fergie intends to do. Arshavin-RVP-Walcott could either be very dangerous to our young defence or be completely ineffective. I think we'll be in control of the game for the most part but will have to be wary of breaks from Arsenal.

If we don't get a grip in midfield, which could happen, then there's nobody on the bench who can come in and change things.

and I thought Tottenham would get something out of this game. Thanks for getting my hopes up Spuds.

It's good that this is a marathon and not a speed race then ;)

Having said that, City have a pretty easy program coming up as well... they'll probably be flying in September.

The fact you're going 4-4-2 says a lot about how much Ferguson rates Arsenal, ie, not much.
I'm also surprised, I predicted 4-3-3 with Carrick and without Welbeck.

He probably wants to kill the game as early as possible.

I know it's an Arsenal team full of excuses but still think we should go 4-3-3. It's something that always works against them.

This is an Arsenal side containing players like RvP, Walcott and Arshavin. I don't give a shit what 'should' happen today, they're a threat and we'd be insane to underestimate them.

It'll go one of two ways - either you'll start like a train and be 2 or more up by half time, or Arsenal will somehow get a grip of the midfield and get in 0-0. If that happens, you'll stick another CM on, and then win as a result.
