Manchester United v Manchester City
Barclays Premier League
Sunday, 10/05/2009, 13:30
Old Trafford, Manchester

A win here and all we need is 4 points in 3 matches.

My line-up would be:

----------Vds--------
O'shea-Rio-Vidic-Evra
-----Carrick-Scholes--
Ronaldo--Giggs-Rooney-
--------Berbatov-------

I like your match day threads by the way Maciek, nice graphics.

West Ham to take summet vs Liverpool on Sat
4-1 win for us in the Derby
3-0 win at Wiggers on Weds to win the title

I'd go with that but give Rooney a rest for sure. Tevez to start

Don't think we should rest anyone as they have 4 days off before this game. We need to start with a full team, finish it off quickly and then bring on the subs. City will be up to spoil our parade.

VDS

Rafael
Vidic
Ferdinand
Evra

Carrick
Fletcher
Giggs

Ronaldo
Berbatov
Tevez

Will be one hell of a derby, since they would love to piss in our parade, as evident from last year's encounter. But we'll come through. The spirit is as high as it can get in our camp right now.

3-0. Ronaldo, Berbatov, Giggs.

3-0 United

VDS

Oshea Rio Vidic Evra
Fletcher Anderson Carrick
Rooney Tevez Ronaldo

-----------Van der sar
Rafael - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
--------- Carrick - Scholes
Ronaldo ----- Giggs ----- Tevez
-------------Berbatov

Gonna be a tough one but on our current form I'm quite confident. Fancy Berba to score.

Lads, giggs needs a rest. In the last three games hes played:

30 minutes against Arsenal in the 1st leg
90 minutes against Middlesbrough
30 minutes against Arsenal in the 2nd leg

That's a total of 150 minutes football in a week. 2 and a half hours top level football for a 35 year old is pushing it. Scholes didn't play tonight so he's more likely to play than Giggs

looks like tevez, scholes are certain to start this.

----Ronaldo--------Tevez-------

Subs : Rooney, Park, Nani, Rafaeil, Brown

What a huge game this could be on our way to the 18th title! In case West Ham can do us a favour we could seal the title with two wins over City and Wigan, and therefore it's essential Fergie keeps the lads focused. Another professional performance is required to beat those blue cnuts and I have very little doubts our lads will be up for it.

Van der Sar
O'Shea - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Carrick - Fletcher - Scholes
Ronaldo - Berbatov - Rooney

Can't wait for Sunday!

-------------------- van der Sar --------------------

--- Rafael ---- Ferdinand ------ Vidic ----- O'Shea ---

--- Ronaldo ---- Scholes ----- Fletcher ----- Nani ---

-------------- Berbatov ------- Tevez --------------

Subs: Foster, Brown, Park, Anderson, Gibson, Park, Rooney

I reckon we may see all of our Fab 4 on sunday... with Anderson Carrick/Fletcher holding and Berba just a head of them linking the midfield to our 3 attackers

...................VDS................
....O'Shea - Rio - Vidic - Evra....
..........Fletcher...Carrick........
Ronaldo......Anderson.....Park
.................Rooney...............

Foster - Rafael - Evans - Giggs - Scholes - Tevez - Berbatov

Would start with this team again. Good options on the bench as well.

We have to rest some of these players on Sunday and rest of them on Wednesday to play Arsenal at Old Trafford with this team!

Got to get Tevez and Berbatov involved this match. I have a funny feeling we're going to start with the team that started the 2nd half against Spurs.

We'll go out to break City.

Prediction:2-0 win with goals from Berbatov, Vidic

nah, strongest team possible please. we need the 3 points against City.
those feckers will be up for it so we'll have to be on our guard.

If we win this, the title is ours. I firmly believe that. After Liverpool play West Ham (which is not an easy game to win), we play 3 games in a row, starting here. Even if Liverpool beat West Ham, 3 wins from our 3 games before their next confirms us as champions, as does 2 wins and a draw. It is good that we get to see Liverpool play first. If they drop points, we can be champions within two games.

Can't wait for this. I think we'll be buzzing after yesterday.

Even if Liverpool beat West Ham, should we beat Citeh and Wigan well be 6 points clear with two games left

Watch them squirm then

Sorry, but Liverpool will destroy West Ham, making this a must win. That said, City are pretty shit this year, and I believe we can beat them if SAF rotates well and gets the tactics right

City's best season in a long time in my opinion.

I think the Westham game is Liverpool toughest remaining fixture.

Fletcher
Park

Tevez
Berbatov

Subs: Foster, Rafael, Anderson, Scholes, Giggs, Rooney, Nani.

Can't believe how many of you leaving out Rooney! Would you rather want him to play against Wigan than our bitter local rivals? His passion and desire is made for these types of matches.

Ronaldo need to play, he was rested at Riverside on Saturday so I don't know why you think he should sit on the bench.

Any news about Michael Ball? Is he injuried or doesn't make first eleven?

I would like to see Ronaldo laughing at him after he scores.

I'm getting pissed off with saying this before every derby - but it's about feckin time we gave em a feckin good seeing to.

Three points will do though.

Three points is three points, I want them badly.

A pasting wouldn't go a miss.

Some dirty fecking blue mouths need to be shut.

--------------------van der Sar --------------------

--- Rafael ---- Ferdinand ------ Vidic ----- O'Shea ---

-----------Anderson----Scholes----Fletcher----------

-----------Park--------Ronaldo--------- Rooney-------

2-0 Ronaldo to get on the scoresheet

I wonder if we'll finally start with

Ronaldo Midfielder Midfielder Rooney
Tevez Berbatov

That would be nice :D

Ok so i'd go with:

VDS
O'Steady Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Carrick Giggs Rooney
Tevez Berbatov

However, i think Fergie will go wth:

VDS
O'Steady Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Carrick Scholes Giggs
Rooney Berbatov

2-0
