Likely line-ups (Guardian)
Manchester-United-v-Evert-001.jpg

Spoke to a nice Irish fellow in work tonight. He was going to the game, I'd assume staying at the hotel directly across from my workplace. He said he was at the 1999 Champions League final so I was instantly jealous. Was a nice chat though, hope we do them tomorrow. Win this game and it should be job done. Although, if we at least avoid defeat at City then it really is good game anyway.

Heading to Euston station right now.

Expecting a house on fire sort of start, just hope we capitalize on our chances.

G'uwon the lads.

aah, hate early matches, we never seem to do well in those.. Hoping that will change today..!

My predicted lineup:

De Gea

Rafael
Evans
Rio
Evra

Valencia
Scholes
Carrick
Nani

Rooney
Welbeck

^ hoping that's the team myself.

Like the way the Guardian has Young in the starting line up, didn't SAF say he had a knock & wouldn't be starting?

Anyway, Nani for Young is a no brainer.

he said he'd a knock alright but didnt confirm anything.

I dont mind who starts between him and nanners, i just hope scholes is playing

I have a funny feeling we'll see Giggs starting this one. I have no idea why Ferguson would do that when it's been a week since Scholes played but I can see him doing it and our play suffering as a result.

I hope I'm wrong, Giggs in the 65th minute if we need a goal would make more sense.

De Gea

Rafael Evans Rio Evra

Valencia Scholes Carrick Nani

Rooney Welbeck

Is the logical line up and our strongest XI which we haven't had for a long time, I guess a game a week rather than a congested fixture list has seen us able to play it.

Young has got a knock.

De Gea, Rafael, Evans, Rio, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Welbeck & Rooney

CONFIRMED MUFC XI:

de Gea

Rafael
Evans
Ferdinand
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Scholes
Nani

Rooney
Welbeck

SUBS: Amos, Smalling, Jones, Giggs, Park, Young, Hernandez.

Our best possible starting 11. Must have been a while since we last saw that.

Howard, Hibbert, Heitinga, Jagielka, Distin, Neville, Gibson, Fellaini, Pienaar, Osman, Jelavic.
