Manchester United v Everton

So all City have to do is win their game in hand, beat us at home and the match our points total in the remaining games

Advantage city really? You glass half empty morons. You'd really rather be 6 points behind with a game in hand? Mentalists.

Why Jones on when we needed a winner? Surely Giggs was a better choice. I could understand bringing on Jones when we were under pressure but not when we needed a goal. Well we messed that up well and truly. Make or break next game.

Have you watched Giggs lately? Putting on an injured Michael Owen would give us a bigger chance.

we are still five points ahead.

We're six points ahead.

how last I looked we was 6 points clear

City will make it 3 after smashing the worst team in the league. It's then up to City to win at the Etihad where they've won every game this season and are against a team on dodgy form.

You think that City won't absolutely demolish Wolves? And they are obviously favourites for the match next week.

well what a cracking game , not happy with the result but credit to Everton for a excellent comeback , still advantage United 6 points in front

I agree with that.. what a game! Obviously I would have preferred that Evra header to have gone in and kept all three points, but it was an exciting afternoon... Such an emotional roller-coaster I'm shaking due to all the endorphins, adrenaline and various other chemicals my brain has pumped out in the last 90 mins!

Sunderland disagrees. And United in the cup.

fecking shambles that is.

I blame fergie for poor team management today.

At 4-2 he should of taken off 1 of the strikers and gone 4-3-3, we needed to sure up midfield but no if anything the 4th goal just gave them more encouragement.

We should have defended much better neway, fellaini and jelavics height caused us non stop problems, but neway they level up 4-4.

So how does fergie respond? he takes off our 2 most creative players, and brings on phil fecking jones and hernandez?.

Im sorry but that is absolutely mental. Fergie has done his best to make this exciting, and boy has he done it.

It's easy to get the facts straight. City are 16-1-0 at home.

It will be a game unto itself. City will still need to win it. City have won less than half their games away from home and travel to Newcastle the following week and I wouldn't say that fixture is a forgone conclusion either. It's all left to play for.

Shit happens.

But I would say when it was 4-4- they should have gotten the ball deeper on the flanks. I hate crosses from 25-30 yards out.

I don't get that at all.

United - fold at Wigan, beat an awful Villa 4-0, throw away 4-2 home lead to Everton

City - 4-0 at West Brom, 6-1 at Norwich, god knows how many they'll get against Wolves

And you don't get why they'd be favourites? It's better that they are favs going into that tbh. we know what they're like when they're favourites and the pressure is on.

With all due respect, Sir Alex got too casual at the end. Joking with the 4th official, not changing to a more defensive setup, not taking valencia off earlier, the jones for scholesy sub etc.

We got complacent and paid for it. Will take time to get over this.

Scripted scripted, whole football is scripted I knew this will happen and next week united will win at city, everything is fecking scripted. I know it doesn't make sense but I knew this would happen when we got 8 points ahead.

I have to say that felt like a hammer to the twat.

What do you do after watching that??

Walk away from the ground with 70K gutted United fans and grab a cool 2hr train back to London.

Absolutely gobsmacked. :(

I think we can get a draw anywhere.

I think we're actually more likely to get the result we need now than I did before today's game. This team seem to require an edge to the game to keep them on their toes. I could do without the minor heart attacks during the game next week though. Get the team selection right and play with a good tempo and we're more than good enough to get a result there.
