He is 19 for feck sake. If Chelsea get him, then Courtois might be off to Barca. Cech will be starting for another few years. Chelsea might want to build for the future and get a good prospect like Butland and then loan him out for a few seasons.

Why would we be in for Butland? If we were to replace De Gea it would be with experience. Not a young keeper as likely to make mistakes at the stage of his career as he one we already have.

Don't think he'll displace him for the Euros, Hart's had a very good 2 seasons but if Butland knocks on like he's expected too there's no reason whatsoever that he won't be able to get a place for the next WC.

Had a really good game for Stoke the other day. Don't think he's ready yet, but who know's what level he can reach. He's still young, and the main thing is he is now playing at a high level, week in, week out for Stoke, and will only improve.
