Manchester United Kits 2017/18

Probably a (stupid) rule, yea.

As if white lettering and numbers would somehow be unclear because of the pattern.

Never used to be an issue.
Same thing with the arms. It's why there's always a gap in the Adidas three stripes for the competition logos now. Rather than the stripes covering the whole of the arms.

Twats.

Some of the 90's beauties would have been ruined by these daft rules.

I don't think that's the issue for this particular kit. I think it's Adidas being cheap and not bothering wasting time and money adding prints on the back too. The replica kit might still have the print on the back though. It was the same with this seasons away kit. The replica version has that pattern/print all over the shirt, but the player version has a blank blue back.

Blank backs on kits however are a new thing now starting next season. Teams like Newcastle, Stoke etc. will be forced to have blank backs on their kits just for printing visibility.

If it didn't have those fecking designs all over the front and was just a plain black jersey it'd be class.

They've had to have them stupid squares on the back for a while haven't they?

Love the black kit. Love the pattern. Old school. Like it.

This guy gets it. These bloody kids don't appreciate a good retro kit.

The shirt reminds me of some hipster shirts with flowers or some other pattern printed all over it.

No, doesn't the club usually promote that a new kit is on the verge of being released?

Usually they do although last year when the blue away kit came out, i don't remember any sort of advertising untill the release day.

That kit was released the wednesday before the last round of pl fixtures.

Being retro is hardly a plus if the kit it's trying to replicate is horrible.

Stuff like that is stupid, football and teams like Newcastle got along just fine for the best part of a century before some jobsworth thought up stupid ideas like this not allowing stripes on backs 'improve' football.

Meh, collars okay, a tad underwhelming.
I always enjoyed the 3 stripes running down the arms on their shirts, so it makes sense as soon as we sign with them they stop doing them, fecking typical.

That's pretty nice, although it'd look better if the collar had the same trim as the sleeves.

I love the black kit and the home kit is decent too. I'm pretty happy with Adidas so far.

United are in a right state.

Shit team, twat of a manager, horrendous kits and to top it all off the golden tie Chevrolet logo.

We deserve to go down.

Very nice!!!

Would have looked better though if the collars could flip up, so I could get my Cantona on. The stripes should have been down the side like this seasons and the Cheverolet logo is abit too high. Infact I just prefer Nike kits... miss those days.

Like both kits so far. Home is classy and classic. Away is a bit more retro but I like that it's a bit different.

Here are some 'official' pictures of the new away kit. This is the Adizero player issue version, the more expensive one.

Nice to see they listened to Caf feedback about the Chevrolet logo....

The new red kit looks fit, definitely the best Adidas one so far.

pattern ruined black kit. home kit is alright. adidas hasn't given us anything great yet

Nike's 06-09 run will never be beaten

I like it, but a red Adidas shirt with the three stripes will always remember me of Bayern Munich.

Away kit being launched tomorrow right?
