This. This jersey is worth my money.

Great. Three stripes. Just like Bayern, Chelsea, Madrid, etc etc.

Are you suggesting that Adidas shouldn't put three stripes on their products?

Becuase two things we can guarentee with our new kit.

1 - It will be Red.

2 - It will have three stripes down each arm.

Can somebody the supposed shirt up with the adidas logo and United crest? To give us more of an idea?

There must be some photoshop god out there..
Hard to find logos that are pixellated like the image of the shirt :/

Hope that's not the new kit.

Looks like something you would find an MLS team wearing.

That's all right, if the hideous white stripes on the side weren't there. However, I much prefer this:

I don't like it (the one I posted), the collar and cuffs are even worse than the sides. Looks nasty. The one you posted is nice, pretty close to the ideal of a plain red shirt :)

looks like any shirt other shirt. Exactly what I critise adidas for. We are United and we don't want to like others. Hate those off the rack bullshit. Design a proper shirt for us!!!!, not a standard shirt und just putting our logo on it. Embarrasing!

It look OK for me, not the worst to be fair and on pitch it should look great (it almost always does).

What I would like is again away shirt like the grey/white one from few season ago, which one could easily wear in a town, without looking like a ten year old :D.

What would a "proper" shirt be if not something simple and classic? The kind of shirt that stands out because of its design is usually hideous. Our colours are all that matter, would rather not have something like this:

I doubt that will be it, but it's not the worst I've seen. There's a bit too much white though!

I really hate the collars and cuffs too though

I usually love our black kits. I always wish we'd have one shirt for each of our colours: red, white and black. Would be a really nice set, especially if they're all nice and simple with matching designs.

I fully agree, this one is good. If we go by this year's template, our shirt would look like that. So I guess all we have tot do is to find soon what template Adidas will use for next season and then it would be easier to speculate what our next shirt will look like.

I think gold stripes instead of white would look brilliant as it would compliment the Chevrolet logo.

So all of you love this years kit with 3 stripes on the sleeve? Oh, and take away the button?

I don't think Adidas has ever done a home jersey where the stripes aren't white... Feel free to correct me, everyone, I just can't think of a jersey without white stripes.

They did blue for Chelsea very recently in 2012? Spain 2014 kit? They also did different colours for Madrid numerous times. I'm sure there's plenty more examples.

You seem surprised, were you hoping Adidas would agree to pay United a world record kit deal to make their shirt yet for some reason decide to omit their signiature 3 stripes which they put on every other kit they produce?

I seem to remember they did gold stripes for Chelsea a few years back.

no. of course i'm not surprised. i know that's what they do, hence why i'm disappointed united are signed up with them from next season.

Well console yourself with the fact they are giving United a shit load of money each year.

That and Adidas do make some nice kits, at least it will be a change for a little while from Nike's plain red T-shirts with a different collar that they have been cranking out for the past few years.

I don't get all the usual complains about kits looking the same every year. What do people expect us to have? Stripes? Hoops? Green stripes?

Nike has always produced individual kits for us except that one after the 2002 WC without being ridicolous. Same goes for Umbro.

All kits have been different and unique, were never generic and sticked to our traditional colours: a mainly red shirt with white or black details.

It is just that Adidas looks all the same and can sometimes only be separated by badge and colour.

United derserves to have its own kit, which doesn't look like bought in a store around the corner and just placed our badge on it!

It must be real. Only a professional kit designer would make a shirt so cluttered. It's not the worst ever but an amateur could come up with something better for free in one minute. Crazy industry.
