Our definition of an assist:
- Pass or cross to the goalscorer who takes five or less touches before the ball crosses the goal line
- Pass or shot which rebounds off the keeper, defender or woodwork before being scored by a different player
- Foul on the player which the resulting free kick or penalty is scored by a different player

Wasn't Herrera fouled for AdM's free kick which should give him 2 assists?

Yep.
 Valencia, doesn't deserve bolded text.

The players bolded are the guys who've scored/assisted in the last updated game, in order for people to know what happened in the preceding match. Valencia's assist came two games ago.

Wasn't it van Persie fouled for Di Maria's free kick? Was it really Herrera?

Ah, right. I see. Nah, it was definitely Herrera. Let me see if I can find you a YouTube link. I'm 100% sure, though.
EDIT: I was too lazy to search through videos so I've taken a picture of my TV from MOTD when Herrera was fouled for the free-kick. http://i.imgur.com/CE1EiYKh.jpg
Hopefully that's conclusive because it's a bit of a naff picture and I can't be fecked taking another.

I see, thanks for that. Remember seeing van Persie fouled there, but maybe it's because they're shirt numbers are close.

Do you guys mind helping in finding Rooney's goal v. Swansea? It's annoying.

Yeah, hits off the back of Jones into Rooney's path. Looks like a Jones assist.

Recently did the same for a lot of previous seasons. I remember you doing it in newbies, used common sense, as I like it.

Here's this season with pretty colours.

Yes, thanks for the support in the previous seasons Mrs Smoker. I fluffed last season's stats trying to put them in code.

Updated 26.10.14 v Chelsea (league)

Not a bad result.

Watched it few more times, and went to see how other sites might've seen it, but I don't believe Falcao passed to Blind for his goal in last match. Looks more like WBA player.

Anyway, you go girl, Robin! Totals below...

Nervy end for the fans. But we were good for the win.

Great win. But we need to cut out silly unforced errors in the middle!

Bloody Jones denies us the clean sheets. But a great Christmas present from the club to its fans! Great result.

Nice spread of goals between RVP, Rooney and Mata
