Woodward gets his dream lifetime supply of Lego.

[geek alert]Always wanted to get that Lego Millennium Falcon.[/geek alert]

Why not? People buy Lego Big Bens and Eiffel Towers.

I wouldn't spend 170 quid, but at a decent price I would buy it for as a Xmas present for me, err, my kids.
It'll be a huge 3-4000 piece Old Trafford set. Probably looking at a £350 price point.

Perhaps they could sell an 'Official Club Lego Set' that requires you to spend 2/3 seasons building it, before your work can be properly critiqued...?

"My Lego team are gonna challenge for the League, Daddy!"

"Now, now, little Timmy, remember the rules - you can't challenge for the League until another 4 transfer windows have gone by :-) "

"But Daddy, I wanna have some exciting fun!"

"Timmy! Calm Down immediately, and remember the buzzwords that Mr Woodward has drummed into us"

*taps the phrases written on the box*

'Transition'

'History'

'Tradition'

'Running'

'Patience'

"And if you disagree, Timmy, maybe you should just feck off and go support Real Madrid"

"Timmy?"

"Timmy, come back here!"

 spot on

Does Sharp still exist?
Haven't seen any microwaves, TVs and HiFis advertised lately.

Remember the adverts in the 80s with Gary Baily?
I'm sure I'm not imagining this. Someone confirm!

Sure does! They are now a subsidiary of Foxconn though.

Are we sure they deal exclusively with us? Pretty sure I've just seen a new lego set out with Liverpool?

Lego Creator 10272 with 3898 bricks and pieces. Looks great imo. Including the United Trinity statue.

That's brilliant.

I might buy that for my niece and "help" (meaning doing the whole thing) her building it.

A few lego jokes aside they are a seriuos organization and currently Manchester United are not.
