Manchester United 2:2 Steven Gerrard's Villa (Sat 23rd July, 10:45 UK time)

Villa aren't playing football.

As soon we we win the ball they foul is and dont even attempt a tackle.

This ref needs to stop playing like cards dont exist

I'm guessing nobody wants to buy Telles, since ETH seems to be trying desperately to find some position where he is remotely competent

Think he's more filling in gaps where we have had players injured and he's a bit more experienced than the alternatives.

Reckon he'll be gone by the end of the window

Yeah they're dreadful, they just smash it long and foul when they lose it.

Our squad options are terrible.

Apart from Malacia, Varane and maybe Bailly, I don't think anyone else on the pitch should be getting minutes next season.

We lack technical ability and press resistance throughout the whole squad. Great that we've added Eriksen but we really need someone like De Jong too and an attacker like Antony.

Varane is so far down the pecking order, I'm so disappointed.

He's behind all our CBs right now and can even argue Bailly looks more convincing..

Anyone judging our players and play on this horrible pitch is out if his head.

That was monumentally stupid by Wan-Bissaka

Garner will surely play some by virtue of not having many options, if he doesn't go on loan

Mcginn could have seen 4 yellows in the first half alone. It's crazy.

They're abusing friendly rules to make it a sloppy game.

Disappointing performance from AWB. He can do a lot better for this, but it looks like he's failing his audition for EtH.

Jesus, Wan Bissaka. What has happened to that guy? It doesn't look like he knows how to use his feet anymore.

Malacia has been a very good addition to the team. On the other hand you just know which players are not good for this team. AWB is pure shit for one. We'll eventually have to move on the likes of Lindelöf, Bruno, Maguire too.

Malacia seems a strong boy, rarely gets pushed off the ball

That was lovely by Iqbal, Chong should've probably tried playing someone in there though.
