Seriously though (well, not really), I remember reading once that in Spain someone who used to go with his father for some team's matches for years did not give up on one of the season tickets when his father died.
He simply brought his dad's ashes for every home match and put it on his usual seat.

You never give up your season ticket, un-written rule. I've had mine since 81 and no way will I give it up...!

Extra time and penalties.

Fully agree. But to take a dead man's ashes every week seems just a tad too extreme

What's the betting we ain't got a striker on the pitch when or if it comes to that...

Well, let's start making lists...
Sharp shooter Forlan
Ole
Scholes (if he comes on)
Nardiello
Beckham

I'd second that too, my old man does nothing but whinge so last thing I'd want is a memory of that every week. Mind you judging by some posters on here I'd get a reminder anyway...

Too right, we sold him and the thought of any of our present full-backs trying to score from the spot, well..... Not that we'll need them anyway..!

Wish I were, no sound card in my workstation
I'm meant to be working late but the fact is I have my eyes glued to a shitty matchtracker. You wait for ages and all they have to say is "Fergie is hoping to celebrate his 16th birthday tomorrow with a Worthington Cup win under his belt"
Riveting stuff.

Forlan's going to score a maradona goal in the second half i tell ya.

Does that mean he'll sublimely get past 5 defenders, or just push the ball into the net with his hand?

tap the ball in with his hand? Hope not.

Actually, Diego's uncle (Ricardo Bochini) was a fantastic player but unlucky to play the same role as Maradona during the same period so he never got a game for the Argies.

I just tried the F5 option and the refresh button, they take me to the page I was on.
