Would have liked him to share game time and teach Rafa a few things but I don't think we can match that money+ champions league football.
Sagna has had some properly bad seasons though, and some spells where he has barely looked a footballer.
I cant think of another footballer who is as up and down as him form wise off the top of my head.
Wow. This post is quote possibly the literal opposite from reality.
Give over he's been terrible for large parts of his time at Arsenal.
Mainly due to injury...
As Cesc says that's the world turned upside down. He's been one of the top fullbacks in the league since 2007 except for an average/poor year after he suffered a double leg break.Give over he's been terrible for large parts of his time at Arsenal.
Sagna will be cover for ZabalettaZabaleta is better than Sagna.

Yes, absolutely. We definitely need a RB, we lose so much penetration in attack when Smalling is at right-back. I never want to see him there again. Sagna would be perfect: Free transfer, experienced, quite old and therefore won't destroy Rafael's hopes, and he'd probably overtake Rafael and improve our starting XI. Would be a fantastic deal for us.As bizarre as it sounds. Would anyone take him at United if a deal was possible? I don't necessarily think we need a right back, but we do need a competent, reliable experienced defender with all our senior players likely to leave in the summer. His versatility could be useful and mean we wouldn't need to sign three fullbacks, assuming Rafael is our only fullback - Buttner's useless. I'd be all for it, if it is possible.
Anyway, I'd say it's a strange deal given City already have Zabaleta and Richards, but they have a penchant for raiding Arsenal, so I suppose it's the norm.
