PES2009 is the best things ever to happen to the mods here. They won't see nor hear from me for the next week or two!
feck FIFA vs PES arguments, answer the mans question and leave it.
Pro evo is for the football purists, fifa is much easier to be good at, its gameplay sucks and graphically it just looks better

It wasn't a FIFA vs PES argument, not til Pavan made his typically worthless contribution. It was more about generally taking the piss out of someone for liking a computer game.

You can basically glide past players if the player that is being used has a fair amount of pace, and this is on TOP PLAYER difficulty. I have never played it before except for PES 5 and after downloading the Pes 09 i scored a fair amount of goals in the demo after a couple of goes. (Entirely based on me and my opinons, am probably just too good

This whole debate has been done to death but here goes...
The latest version of FIFA might just be a better game than the latest version of PES. I'll need to compare both full versions to be sure. Last season, PES was marginally better than the equivalent FIFA. Before then, every single version of PES - going back to ISS - was fecking streets ahead.
Anyone who disagrees with this summary is just plain wrong, basically.

It's not like he was asking for suggestions for a new haircut for his My Little Pony, FFS. Which he might as well have, by the collective sneering and posturing this thread received. Like I said, cnuts trying to be too cool for school.

I'd diagnose you as suffering from a severe case of sense of humour failure.
Personally, I couldn't give a shite about people having a laugh at me for playing computer games, hence I owned up straight away. I'm far too old and ugly to give a bollix what people think about me. Especially strangers on the internet.
As for the sense of humour failure, I think it was the actual humour that failed, more than anything else.
I have both games and I can say that Fifa is 10x better than PES 09.

Isn't FIFA deemed better than PES now? I don't know as I rarely play either.
