Think I've found the tabloid readers
Yes clearly we all must be tabloid readers, there is absolutely no evidence in the real world that the culture at United is rotten.
Think I've found the tabloid readers
The Mourinho one is bollocks given how we saw him manage at Spurs.
Nothing wrong with a manager leaving a session to his assistants and watching from afar, that's exactly what he hires them for. The problems under Mourinho were when Rui Faria left and McKenna and Carrick stepped in.
Then those problems continued under Ole.
Nice job collecting these!...under LVG...

No it's common sense. Klopp and Pep are not running every single session either. You learn nothing without taking a step back and watching some times.
A pattern of clickbait articles by journos that knows how to get consistent clicks each time a new manager comes in?...under LVG...

Sorry pal but it is tabloid nonsense and always is. They have no sources and report the same thing over and over. If it suits the agenda people will accept it at face value. Just my viewNot really. Just a reality that there have been lots of leaks. Fairly obvious who it is.
Is it? Shaw certainly seems to be a possible leaker, and it’s by no means certain that he has a future at United anyway. But Luke Shaw’s staying. . . oh sorry, I forgot it’s a certain type of player that gets labelled loose lipped.

Leaky McLeakerson there
True, but there’s been plenty of overlap. Maybe a rotten culture handed down through the generations?
Interesting name.
I think the thread title says it all and needs no further comment: Manchester United players unhappy with training....under LVG...

You're hard work
The Athletic article says that Amass and Sharp are poor coaches. It’s not really controversial if you look at their careers. They’re out of their depth. It says the club and Rangnick wanted Carrick and McKenna to stay on.
Agreed, but it's not the squad, it's the culture. If you read about the Hundred Monkey effect, you will know what I'm talking about. In case you didn't it was basically an observation where a new behaviour spreads through a group of monkey, despite the originator not being there anymore.
Both Fergie and Cruyff when they stepped into their roles had to change the established culture(drinking at Man Utd and being victims at Barca). We have a culture of over entitled brats as things stand.
How many times did we have new players join in and then within 6 months they start losing their spark? Just look at Bruno. When he joined he looked like this determined WC player willing to uphold standards and his team mates accountable. Now look at him now: a shell of himself that constantly complains about everything. For some people the environment is too big of a hurdle to handle.
Ronaldo is the exception. Unlike most players, he doesn't let the environment dictate how he should feel, but rather the opposite. Hence the strife in the dressing room, because his presence is challenging the established status quo.
The biggest challenge ETH will face isn't the board or transfers or playing styles... it will be to completely uprooting this toxic over entitled environment and replace it with a meritocratic one.
It's not 100%, though. DDG, Shaw, Jones, Lingard, Mata and Rashford all played under LVG. If it is one of them I know who my money's on.
I think we will see a lot less negative stories about the club once Lingard leaves and Rashford gets sold to a West Ham next summer.
And high wages.Yes, they have very high standards.
Yes, but it's hard to get rid of those on the high wages we pay them.true but toxicity at a workplace is infective. It only takes 2-3 bad apples to rot the rest and unless once act quickly then the rot remains even if the original bad apples are finally removed. In my opinion, one of United's biggest problems is its inability of handling a high staff turnover. Thus players can easily become complacent by knowing that all it takes for them to be handled a new contract is for them not to be at the end of the pile.
Also the source might be anyone, it might be other coaches or staff who liked Carrick and McKenna. Usual default position among the fanbase is, guess the player and talk shit about them. Even worse just talk shit about every player.
We always had negative stories even when both of these players weren't part of first team. People are in dreamland if they think we won't have negative stories of some players are sold. Stories will stop if we start winning trophies, at least the volume of stories
Shaw outs himself in national papers whenever things don’t go right for himself, pointing the finger at whichever manager is in his wake at the time though. He played badly under Jose, returns to a semblance of form then digs him out. He plays badly under RR, he digs United/RR out whilst on England duty. His lips are as loose as any.Yeah, the type that have been outed on national television.
Don't try that one with me mate, you want to try and have that discussion with me I suggest you check my stance via previous posts and shoot me a DM.
The first story linked is from Rashford and Lingard's breakout season. By now we have been able to narrow the toxicity in our dressing room down to a handful of players. If they go, things will improve on and off the pitch.

I’ve been censored so it’s difficult to have a proper conversation when you’re being dubbed but the irony that you felt ‘randomly & casually’ accused of something when you’re ‘randomly & casually’ accusing certain players of behaviours others have exuded surely can’t be lost on you. I’d suggest checking my post history, if I think I would outright call you something if I thought it. My DMs are always open.
True. It is absurd though that we’ve got two MLS coaches of no real renown being the most responsible for preparing us for games. If we’d of brought in a couple of average League One coaches for this job people would rightly lose their minds but this is the kind of level these lads are at.
The article claims that Sharp is especially poor at his job.
We had similar stories and even worse before their breakout season. Also Rashford made debut in Feb and the story was published in December.
He was in matchday squads in November though and he was training with the first team for at least a year before that. Whether the leaks are him or not, he was definitely in the first team setup at the time.
So? Are you saying Rashford leaked news when he didn't even make his debut?
