Ramires, Ba & Martinez all say hi.
Hernandez RvP and Nani say hi too.

Ex United players, famous, on high wages who could have demanded even bigger salaries but chose to stay in Europe. You're the one who mentioned how attractive an ex United player would be in the Chinese market and then name Ramires and Ba.Sorry you've lost me, talking about players who gone to China and suddenly you go all German, Turkish & Spanish based players.
Fellaini isn't a flop in my book.
Awful. All people agree with me on that.Jones €3m
Rojo €15m
Fellaini €15m
Darmian €15m
Schneiderlin €20m
Depay €25m
= 93
The difference being is Benteke is premiership proven and a club like Palace were desperate for a striker. Liverpool were refusing to budge on the fee as well, that's the reason for his fee.Sorry, but Depay and Fellaini will go for more. I bet no one thought Benteke would go for 30m after that season. 10m for Fellaini is laughable. The same for Schneiderlin and Depay.
Are those figures in pounds or Euros? Either way I can't see a club spending 'at least' £17.5m on Schneiderlin when United paid around £25m and he's done next to nothing for a season and bit. Same for Depay. We could get quite a bit from them actually.
Schneiderlin - 20m at least
Darmian - 15m
Jones - 5-10m
Rojo - 10-15m
Memphis - 15-20m
Mourinho won't sell Fellaini, not sure why he's there.

You're just not getting it, none of the ex United players chose to go to China to make money which they could have done, they chose to stay slightly relevant by staying in an European league. Just because the Chinese clubs are willing to pay the transfer fees and wages doesn't mean the players will drop their hat and move to China.Obviously 'if' United are looking to offload players, then China will be a market that would be very interested in our players.
And also pretty obviously I cannot give examples of current players who left the club for China, as well like they're still contracted to the club. So I gave examples of players in their prime who currently ply their trade in China. Nani etc are completely irrelevant to our discussion, as they didn't go to China. Martinez etc are as they play in China, went for very good transfer fees and are on astronomic wages.
I think no club in its right mind would pay anything for Jones after his injuries and performances when fit in the last years.

I'd keep Young as well, he so often makes a contribution off the bench, and is obviously happy to see out his career as a squad player. Hard to find decent benchwarmers who are happy to stick around.
Some of the above we should only sell for proper fees though, not the usual United gestural 3 or 4 mil. The likes of Darmian and Schneiderlin are good enough to keep around unless someone wants to give us real money for them.
Pounds. Didn't Everton want to get Schneiderlin for around 24m in the summer? Even if these guys underperformed, you are underestimating how much money teams have and will spend on players... Fecking Crystal Palace signed Benteke for 35m or so, so of course, Schneiderlin and Memphis would be able to get most of the fee back if not all of it since we didn't spend that much really. The difference being is Benteke is premiership proven and a club like Palace were desperate for a striker. Liverpool were refusing to budge on the fee as well, that's the reason for his fee.

You said:
"China will pay a big fee and big wages. The marketability of an ex United layer would be huge there. So I find that part of your statement very inaccurate."
Then gave me an example of:
"Ramires, Ba & Martinez all say hi"
Yea, they all played for United.
Why is everyone so ready to sell Memphis? At the moment he is behind Martial and Rashford for the left wing, he is not demanding to start and he is young. Why not keep him as a back-up with the hope that he might fulfill his talent? Are we 100% sure he won’t make it here?

We'll get more for Jones but less for the rest.
The valuations some of you guys are putting next to Depay's name are crazy.
He's our biggest flop for years and all of European football knows it - back to Holland for £5m > £7m maximum.
Our players who were moved on in 2015 prior to the Chinese player splurge in Europe, cannot be sold again by United in 2016. I gave recent examples of players who are around their prime (who you stated would not move to China).
Try working with a few dates with things that happened on those dates, not just oh I say this will never happen so it won't.
You're just not getting it to coin a phrase!
You said ex United players and then gave me examples of Chelsea players. I'm done with you. I need to converse with someone with at least a double digit IQ.
I said second string, which by definition isn't prominent.Disagree entirely. He's not talented enough to play as an attacking midfielder for us and he doesn't have the tactical (or technical) abilities required to play further back either.
Him being so prominent in our squad is one of the reasons why we've faltered over the last few years.
What's the name of the book?
How much could we get for Rooney to China?
