Wish that was the trade off!Yeah seriously. I’d happily end that record if that meant we looked good next year or won the Europa League. It’s some niche stat.

Honest question, was anyone even aware of this record before it started getting brought up a few years ago?
Yeah been talked about on here for many yearsHonest question, was anyone even aware of this record before it started getting brought up a few years ago?
Well obviously it wasn’t as impressive in 2002Honest question, was anyone even aware of this record before it started getting brought up a few years ago?
I shat my pants when they had that chance near the endStill intact!
In what way? Surely United were unlucky not to win, if anything.Unbelievable it didn't go today. Fully sure we wouldn't hold on to it today
Is the OP stat wrong? Should it be this?

It is really. But is it league games only or also in Europe and cup competitions? This means that since 1984, United win 91.5% of their home games when leading at half time. It's a phenomenal stat.
I was sure it wouldn't survive today. Also few seasons ago when Casemiro was sent off vs Palace thought we'd crumble.God knows how that record has survived during these banter years.

We've barely been ahead at half time is one reasonGod knows how that record has survived during these banter years.
Too good to lose it under SAF. Not in the lead often enough to lose it since.God knows how that record has survived during these banter years.
That’s certainly the reason this season. We've barely been ahead at half time is one reason
That’s certainly the reason this season.
We were absolutely dominated in that first half. When Arsenal had a corner just before half time, I actually reasoned with myself, that if they scored, at least we wouldn’t lose the record!
What’s astonishing is that we had so many great chances in the second half, in another day (or if for a team with confidence), Arsenal would have lost quite heavily- even with them continuing to dominate the ball.
Exactly that, I'm 40 this yearIt’s mad that this record stretches all the way back to the 80s. You could be approaching 40 years old and still never seen United a lose a game they were leading at HT.
the last time before last season was the 5-3 against Leicester. It is really. But is it league games only or also in Europe and cup competitions?

Also, last season we lost 3-1 at City after we were 1-0 up at HT. Think that was also first time to lose away after leading since 2014 and defeat at Swansea. So that took a decade as well.
As I said, there are grandparents who are younger than this record. It’s mad that this record stretches all the way back to the 80s. You could be approaching 40 years old and still never seen United a lose a game they were leading at HT.
That was the lens I watched the entire second half through, especially once Rice equalised. The record was the only thing on the line, couldn’t really give a toss about the league or anything else to do with the game.I shat my pants when they had that chance near the end
Yes Leicester not Swansea, thank you.the last time before last season was the 5-3 against Leicester.
