Television Malcolm In The Middle | 13th December 2024: Four episode revival ordered by Disney+

It could be coming back. Bryan Cranston has said they are working on concepts, plots etc.

Christopher Masterson is the only one of the brothers who still acts. I think it'll be tough to reunite them for a full TV series - especially Erik Per Sullivan. I suppose with their ages it can be easy to just have it focused on Malcolm's family and have him written out to be living elsewhere but no Dewey would be a pity even if his character probably wouldn't work as much as he'd no longer be the cute little kid.

I guess there's also Jamie and the sixth child to call upon.

A reboot is a bad idea. The ending was perfect. It's fun to imagine how their lives turn out. Especially Malcolm and Dewey.

I saw a fun post on Reddit with some ideas about what a reboot could look like and it almost changed my mind on the matter. In this writing prompt, Dewey has become very wealthy and built a huge mansion right next to his parent's house. He lives there in secret and never reveals his identity to Hal and Louis.

Still on the rewatch. One of their best jokes imo

fecking loved this show back in the day and I rewatched it from start to finish last year and it was as good as I remembered. Hopefully the revival lives up to the original series!

When they were talking about a revival a while ago I was a tad worried, but four episodes is OK. If it's good then great, if it's not it won't really put a dent in the original.

The whole cast or just them 3? The actors of Reese and Dewie basically quit acting didn't they?

Went through and rewatched this with the kids this year. Still holds up, looking forward to the new episodes
