In my school days I made £300 in one day by introducing a game called Football teams A-Z.

Rules - Say the name of a team beginning with A. Now the next person must say a team beginning with A. Once every participant has mentioned a team beginning with A, we move on to the letter B. If you get it wrong, or take too long then you're out.

Entre fee - £5

I did it in the P.E changing rooms, and 60 people entered.

7 people were left by the time we got to the letter X.

I said Xeres Club Deportivo

Nobody else could say one with X.

I won. I also introduced Players A-Z. My trump card was the letter U.

I was unbeaten in both
