Were Apollo even interested in the first place? Only the Mail reported it and importantly I’ve never heard of that journalist whose name was put on the top of the article. It wasn’t someone credible at the Mail like Mokbel. I feel like Apollo should be pissed at the Mail if this was the case.

Well they're vultures, they'd have probably pushed the Glazers to load the club with even more debt in the guise of renovating the stadium - skimming a couple of hundred mil off the top then sell their shares soon after.

Maybe, or the papers are just trying to get more readers by baiting. They know what is going on with the potential protests and fanbase - it is ripe for a bit of stirring to increase their readership.
