Madrid is the perfect city and Real is the perfect club to play (and support)

I've always liked Real Madrid. Classy, prestigious, a long and impressive history.

Having said all that, if and when we get back to the point where we're competing with them in Europe I'll be calling them cheating cnuts and whatnot almost immediately.
Of course. That's a given.

Praise us ya bastards. Keeping Liverpool and City from success so often.

:wenger:
Yeah I'm very grateful to you have to say. Real Madrid in Europe (and City domestically) have made last decade at least bearable for us, otherwise it would've been too depressing. Well done and thanks.

Different class. Started watching them for real with Mourinho and throughout the years I fell in love with their CL mystic. Today was just another example out of dozens.

None of you start talking shit btw, after all those times we got rid of Liverpool and City :nono:

They are inevitable. I can't even be annoyed either as they saved us from multiple City and Liverpool CL wins.

The United supporting Madrid ***** are out even when they're not knocking out direct PL rivals and getting through with ref help. A Dortmund upset will be delicious.

Edit - Hah can't believe the S word is censored

I'd rather them over City or Liverpool obviously but I'd prefer Dortmund over them for equally obvious reasons.

They are too good. Always get the job done when it matters. Respect.

They are just in a tier of their own. I can’t fathom how some people still debate who the greatest club in the world is. A league of their own way ahead of United, Barcelona, Bayern, AC Milan, etc.

First loss in an eternity and the pitchforks are out. Their fans take no prisoners. Polar opposite to a certain red fanbase.

The winning mentality stems from their entitled, demanding fanbase.

They simply won't accept mediocrity.

On the other hand, match-going fans of United will always give the manager and academy players a lot of leeway and back them even if the club is clearly heading towards the wrong direction.

That sounds healthy.

Yes, that's why we settled on kind and healthy and gave up on being competitive. Which is quite ironic if you think how just a decade ago we were cheerfully accepting every toxic, aggressive and unhealthy behaviour from Sir Alex, only because he was successful.

I'm sorry, there was a cliff of assumptions and you seem to have jumped off it?

Any fanbase that can tolerate what we witnessed last season and still vote in favour of keeping the manager deserves what it is getting to be honest

The only time I have watched Madrid was to see how Becks played or when Barca were in their pomp and were giving them a thumping.
I really do not like the club otherwise.

Madrid is the club for glory hunters, because all they have is trophy.

Our club is for sentimental people, because we have nostalgia and moral high ground.

Different TA between 2 clubs, to be honest.

They’re also extremely efficient and well run, we’ve actually outspent them since Fergie retired and our squad is mid table quality whilst they have world class players in nearly every position.

Losing kroos is their big problem.
Yeah. He ordered the team in a way that their current midfielders just cannot do. And Ancelotti simply hasn't found a way to solve it through different means.

More trophies means more history means even our nostalgia is better than yours and we've spent the last few years stopping oil clubs and liverpool from racking up CL so we have the moral highest ground too

Now give us ALL the glory!
