Music Mac Miller

He was really the one that sort of linked everyone together in this era of Hip Hop. People from every corner of Hip Hop have come out to show love to him.

Would've turned 30 today. Still listen to some of his stuff in the car from time to time, just seems like fecking yesterday that he's gone.

Blue Slide Park was one of the defining albums of my youth, still making me feel nostalgic.

His evolution as an artist was truly remarkable in this day and age, and I feel he (and us) were robbed of seeing that process continue.

Anyone been listening to Balloonerism? I love 5 Dollar Pony Rides and Stoned so far but the whole album vibe just reminds me of Faces. His estate has really handled the posthumous stuff with dignity.

I feel like he just had this unique ability to just be himself in his music. It all sounds so him, no fake shit, just genuine feelings and creativity. He left such a void in hip-hop that hasn't been filled. Makes me sad to think about what he'd have made if he was still around.
