"it's the law of Murphy"

Some guy on Mutv missed work for this and just said he wants Utd to lose the next round so LVG goes.

Big Ron wasnt happy.

If we felt Moyes did a bad job, Van Gaal has destroyed Manchester United as we know it.

He's sold 60% of the squad and replaced them with seriously average players, he's also decided we're best sticking with kids than actual experienced footballers.

All those clubs we slated for sacking their managers after short amounts of time, at least they avoided new lows like this. This is the way it goes when it is clear Van Gaal is a disease on club just eating further and further. Not going to change Mr Woodward, swallow your pride you fecking idiot.

even if you assessment is correct, Mata was brilliant in that average-crap Chelsea. He is now playing for average-crap United and he is "awful", why and how? Same goes for Herrera and Schneiderlin, neither of them were brilliant but they were good, now they are piss poor.
Because possession football requires better players.
They played for mediocre topsy-turvy, end-to-end teams. They were mediocre players playing football that doesn't create top teams. They're still mediocre players, but they're now attempting to play the style of football that good players play.

It's like Pulis' original Stoke side attempting to play like Hughes' current side. They'd look worse. The simple crap football they played with Diao, Kitson and Delap at least masked their inadequacies.

van Gaal's issue is not realising how ill-suited his players are to possession football and abandoning it. Martinez relegated his side trying to play passing football. You can't get mediocre players to play high-level possession football, no matter how long you go at it. Not one of them has proven themselves in a top possession team. And it shows.

What a shite post match interview. He didn't even seem particularly bothered by the defeat.

He isn't. He knows he's lost the players. He knows his process hasn't worked. He knows he will have a big pay day coming soon. He's just going through the motions, like the players.

Another pathetic post match presser, how does this guy inspire he's players (of course we know he clearly doesn't) with such a half hearted personality?

It almost feels like karma for a large chunk of the high horse condescending cnuts that were/are part our fan base. Shame the rest of us have to suffer too.

8 wins in 25 games is it?
Had a check, yes it is.

Our famous wins in the last 25:
Man Utd 1-0 CSKA
Man Utd 2-0 WBA
Watford 1-2 Man Utd
Man Utd 2-1 Swansea
Man Utd 1-0 Sheff Utd
Liverpool 0-1 Man Utd
Derby 1-3 Man Utd
Man Utd 3-0 Stoke

I hope Mr Wings closes the fecking doors to him.

No more chinese for you fatman

You know what scares me? If we dont sack him before the next leg and God forbid we win and advance, that will get him another two weeks at least.

Morgan? Played for Southampton Average team.
Mata? Played for an average-crap Chelsea team.
Herrera? Played for Bilbao - not a great team.
Memphis? Dutch League - largely meaningless.

International pedigree? non existent.
End result? they combine to make a pretty average-crap team.

Why is this surprising? Why are people expecting average footballers assembled from mediocre teams to suddenly make a great team?
Yes, van Gaal makes them worse, but this isn't some squad of quality footballers. they're largely limited and average.

Agreed.

Surely he has to..........oh wait it has been said over and over again. Yet he is still here.

Get LVG and his stooges gone. Let Giggsy follow him out the door.

In fairness, before we turned to crap, he was quite positive and strong in his convictions.
But once we lost a lot of games and he got booed heavily (remember that?), he really lost his conviction and I think he has checked out already.
He'll try his best, but win, lose or draw, it doesn't make much difference to him, personally.

I actually think that he has already been told that Jose is taking over in the Summer, so he is merely counting down the matches till he retires.

If our transformation into the dippers wasn't almost confirmed it seems like we've got their kit by mistake next season too:
