Get him out! Now. It's not good enough.

You can't tell me that players like that would have one soft shot on target with any other manager in change.

I've backed him for as long as I can. We are barley treading water with LVG in charge let alone moving forward. There are plenty of better managers available now and even more in the summer. Give it to Giggs till then if need be.

He was texting on this phone, looking very angry. Hopefully it was a text to Woody demanding a board meeting.

I was thinking that, he was prob texting Giggsy sitting right beside that turnip, he's prob too senile to even know he's been undermined by his assistant.

We've looked like a side that should be battling for relegation for months now. But we luck out on results and somehow that makes LVG stay in a job.

Sick to death.

I think Football has moved on but LVG hasn't. He's yesterday's man employing yesterday's tactics and it's clear from his body language that he cannot comprehend what's happening let alone know how to change things.

He's like a man who still rides a horse impervious to the fact that the internal combustion engine has long been invented.

Someone should put him out of his misery.

When he eventually gets sacked the media narrative will be the usual bullshit. "Impatient fans", "needed more time", "booing at OT".

Here in the States the consensus in the media (especially ESPN) is that Moyes wasn't given enough time. It's absolutely laughable really.

Please resign Louis. For your own good. Save some dignity before you're booted out. You are not the manager we thought you were - you're probably not even the manager you thought you were.

The thing that gets me is he started with a 3-5-2/5-3-2 which was stupid with Fellaini and Lingard who shouldn't have played. But we struggled and he rectified it at half time, which is in itself infuriating because he wastes a sub undoing his stubbornness. We then played well for 10 minutes but after the injury and instead of playing McNair at right back he switches back to the bullshit system and we do nothing afterwards.

I expect an emergency meeting of the board. Woody is a businessman, he knows he is in deep deep doodoo with the sponsors, fans and proprietors of the hotdog stands outside OT....

I think he set us up extremely well. Fellaini was there to exhaust the opposition, who were chasing long balls left, right, and center. Lingard followed his instructions to the letter by consistently providing dangerous crosses to the far post. In defense, we were very tight once again thanks to the great decisions of LvG. I am sure it is not only me who saw the interplay between Smalling Blind and Darmian. The way they communicate is enough to break any attack. We had really good chances to score, especially the Herrera chance when his shot got blocked at the 30th yard. Overall, we need to continue playing like this and i am sure the title will come. Don't dare arguing with me or i will lose it. No, seriously. Oh cmon...yeah...we are a sad story

We still have the Europa League to play and firing LVG could give us a chance to win it.

We's still be able to get top 4 with a decent manager or even more. Van Gaal we won't finish top 4, no chance.

Sack LVG, win Europa League to get CL and finish anywhere in the league. As someone said, its the disgusting performances more than the results. Not once did we threaten today AT HOME, not once. Come on!

We have not even moved 1 step forward since he took over. We made top 4 because the others around us bottled it. Has our play really improved with all the millions he's spent since Moyes?

If we were attacking, making chances...shooting on target a good percentage of times each half and losing, I would say, hey....this is really bad luck. But we are not...what was it...one shot, maybe two.....that is just not acceptable for not only the 250m we have spent...but also, apparently, the richest club in the world!

We had a title to win in December if we fired him after Wolfsburg like any ambitious club. Don't think the club care too much about winning.

We are now 10 points from the top of the league table.
I said this before and I will say it again: we are more likely to lose ground on the leaders than gain on them.
Our major problem is that we can't score more than 1 goal a game and if our opponents score 1 goal, we shit ourselves. If they score 2 goals - we are done.

why concern ourselves with the leaders? We aren't even Spurs level who we were hoping to catch for top 4. They are currently 5 points and +15 on GD.

You should be hit with a big stick for this.

Haha! Gotta have a sense of humour with how it is these days. Laughable that LVG will probably stay in the job after that shower of shite. Probably beats Newcastle early in the season as our worst performance.

The problem is that right now the choice seems to be either sticking with LVG and hoping he gets us across the line for 4th - feck me, how far have we fallen? - or putting Giggs in charge and hoping upon hope that he can give us the lift we need to get top 4. Neither is based upon anything more than blind faith at this stage, as the evidence against LVG is pretty damning and the evidence for Giggs is, as yet, non-existent.

Going out of the CL pre-christmas, losing virtually every game since then throughout December against absolutely shit-stick sides like Bournemouth? All the while playing football which makes you lament the sad loss of the adventurous days of Captain Moyes aboard the good ship HMS Crossesforfun, saying we won't buy in January, fecking hell.

Get him gone.

When is this gonna rebound on Dick'Ed Woodward? It's his responsibility to fire LVG and he should've done it, at the latest, after the Norwich loss. I know he brings in the money that pays off the Glazers' debts and all, but the piece of shit has presided over as shambolic a transition from Ferguson as anyone would've dared imagine three years ago. He can't do transfers, he can't pick managers, he can't sack managers, he can't appoint an Academy boss, he can't manage the youth system, what the feck can he do apart from sticking United badges on toilet rolls and Chinese plastic?

Someone said to me recently that it's "one step forwards and two back" with Van Gaal. I'm struggling to see any steps forward. We are getting worse every week. The rot has to stop. He needs hounding out now.

ummm not entirely false IMHO :nervous:
Yeh let's not blame the current manager who is serving up this shite. Let's not blame the players who look inept. Let's not blame the exec in charge or the owners. Let's blame a club legend who sits only behind Sir Alex and Sir Matt in stature because he may or may not have vetoed Mourinho in 2013. Not just blame him, "feck him".

This. There is no viable alternative.

You are both right, he should have been out in December but my point is that we are all miserable, the board is maybe resigned when we shouldn't be, we still have a big competition to play and win.
