Luke Shaw interview post Wolves defeat

According to some we’d had a reboot and had a squad full of United DNA, turns out its an absolute shit show.

Hope in the interview he slagged himself. From being one of the best LB in the world last season to a championship player in this one.

Confidence is low. Didn't think there was much controversy in everything else he said, as it's the same things we can see.

Exactly anyone losing their shit over what he said is because the truth hurts

Ole couldn't fix what the issue is this season and seemingly neither can Ragnick

Interesting. I wonder when they stopped being together…it’s definitely a hard one to figure out.

January 2018 is when the shit really started to go south. Mourinho needs to release a book already.

I think the worst thing he said was that there were no options when we're trying to pass the ball. Sounds like the players have no idea where to position themselves. Something we've been dealing with a long time. I thought this new guy would help to fix that, but clearly not.

I don't think he's meant to have a cut at the manager there. He has been damning of the players apart from Jones, and rightly so.

What does such interview bring except more problems for the club ? We don't need more pressure from the media. Beside, Shaw needs to shut up because he's part of the problem. He has been absolute shit this season and the praise he got last season went into his head and made him think he's done it all when it reality he has won feck all so far.

The owners decided to stick with Ole till we dropped so many points we put ourselves in a real bad position. This will bite us in the arse and we are going to lose out on CL to either Arsenal or Spurs. Anything that damages the Glazer's is good so I don't really give a feck about CL anymore tbh. Anything to get these owners out.
That won’t happen, they will not leave… :annoyed:

Ive said it before but I don't think Ole did fix the dressing room after Jose, he just turned a blind eye to it and tried to be everyone's mate.

Assume you mean disgraceful in that it’s true Esther than he’s disgraceful for saying it?

It's disgraceful that he's made the comments he had, even if they are true. Washing the dirty linen in public like that is so far from what we got used to under Sir Alex.

This team is on its way down. Fast.

Pretty sure he said 'the team wasn't there together' in reference to them being disjointed. Dont see much wrong with that

I’ve only read the quotes on bbc, but they don’t seem as bad as I was expecting after reading the first page of posts.

Didn't De Gea come out with similar stuff before Ole got the sack? He's not the first of your players to say this.

I switched over to the darts the moment the FT whistle went.

Anyone got a link to his interview? It sounds like a real scathing one towards the manager.

I was rather silly and closed my stream at the final whistle :nervous:
I couldn't turn the channel over quickly enough. Shambolic. I'd rather get rid of half of them and drop down the league while building a team with bollocks than this shit.

It's unforgiveable. Jones is excepted from this tonight wish they all had his mentality if not his body.

thread title is a bit misleading

I thought he said "It didn't feel like we were all out there together" or something to that effect

still not great..

There’s fairly clearly a Portugal v England thing going on.

What else do you expect him to say when he’s asked the question about why we’re utter shite game after game…?

I think he tried to dodge as much as he could. Otherwise all he could say is “I don’t know” / “no comment”. It’s hardly a surprise what he’s saying…

They are uncomfortable with the system is what I got from most of the answers, besides the lack of intensity.

The actual TV interview was pretty telling. Sky will tweet it in a bit no doubt.

Aye, it was a good honest take on a diabolical team performance. Weird the way people seem to make him out to be the villain here. He was one of only 2 or 3 players who played at the level we need.

If you were going to make two sides in the dressing room, one for Jose, and one against. It would look something like this.

Jose------------------------Jose Out
Matic-----------------------Everyone else
Fellaini
Smalling
Bailly

How do you even fix this, signing 1 or 2 centre midfields in the summer would of been solid

but now, put two new players in the pot with this current toxic crop and I’d fancy them to sap the energy out of them

He could have said almost anything other than what he did. Talking about togetherness, making sly digs at his teammates, the coach. It's so far off the standard Sir Alex set.

Good on him for being honest.

Incredible that people seem more angry at him for saying it, than the issues he is talking about.

This is why Ragnick is here, to get rid of the players who aren't together. He's bulletproof until the end of the season so the players best get on board or be prepared to be shown the door. It will be painful in the short term but we need these players out of the club.

I have a hunch that despite the shit results of Solskjaer, that some of these players including Shaw enjoyed a nice free ride under him… for far too long and now Ralf has come in and actually made them work, they’re probably having a culture shock.

Sorry Luke… when you blatantly feck up, Ralf isn’t going to tell you “Don’t worry Shawy that’s football! You lose some, You win some! United DNA and all that!“

I’m sorry but Shaw needs to get lost, he’s one of the problems. couldn’t handle the fact that Rolf dropped him for Telles. Jose was right about him.
I'm sorry but you need to park your presumptuous BS.
