Hope Lukaku pulls "Koscielny" on reveal video. United->Inter shirt, actually, no, he should do Anderlecht -> Inter, that would be even more epic.

His form dropped as soon as we stopped singing about his 24 inch penis. Coincidence? I think not.
 
I’ll be glad to see the back of him. He was mediocre for us and has been incredibly unprofessional this summer. And that is a very decent fee by our standards.

I wasn't keen on him but thought he improved a bit over his first season. Happy to be rid of him now though obviously. His goals will be hard to replace but hes such a poor player in every other regard its hard to be too bothered about it.
 
Was never a big fan of lukaku. His ball control was extremely poor, but I do believe that when he was on the field he did at least try most of the time. Which is more than I can say for Martial. If people are talking about Sanchez and Lukaku being the worst signings ever, surely Martial has to be included in that list also.
 
Great, I get to see him being useless in person now. Was planning on watching more of Inter this season but now I think I'll stick to the CL games.

Not sure if you are being serious. :D He is the one who took us to 2nd. He is a flat track bully but a damn good one and with him firing we ensured that we slayed the bottom half.
 
Glad to see that we finally cashed in on him. He really is not a good footballer.

However, fans are an ungrateful pack. If nothing else I will always remember his 2 goals in Paris.

For a non-footballer, he has been doing a fantastic job.
To be fair to the lad, it was just that he was at the club at the wrong time when club went from one extreme (Joseball) to another (OleBall). He will set Serie-A on fire with his performances.

If I am a Man Utd fan I will be really worry having only Martial & Rashford as striker. I assume Martial will play on the left and Rashford as striker. There seems no depth for the front 3. Only 2 days left before window close.

Lukaku once went nearly a thousand minutes (997) without scoring at old Trafford over something like three quarters of a year.
If that fantastic then I'm at least average.

And the fact that one of the best coach in the world like Conte wanted him so badly (that he’s surely more competent than any poster in any football forum on internet) is a real insurance for us.

This is true but whenever lukuku would play it was clear he wasn’t the type of player we were going to play too. Ie we never cross. Long balls are non existent. Basically we don’t give him the type of service he needs. I’m worried about goals next season but I don’t think Lukaku was or is the answer

Don't know about that... He's more competent than you and I, but there are posters who know more about football than Conte. For sure.

I'm pretty neutral on Rom i think. Watched him all last season as i don't miss any United games. He's a good in the box scorer. He knows how to turn and shoot to score, fairly clinical. But the better teams will not give him time to control the ball and shoot and as such he's usually not very effective against the better teams. That said, for Inter, he will be scoring against your little dog teams like SPAL, Parma, Torino (i guess, as i dont follow the league). I think he will make Inter a better team, but he just is not what we need at United to be an elite team. He's not a bad passer either. But he's not an aguero/suarez type which i think we are after who can run past defenders, open up space for himself, and then score.

The results will say as always, anyway I expect people dissing the guy even if he will come back at scoring goals like he did in the past (except last season)
About competence on football forums maybe you can find some great examples of competent people that understand football (or even studied the history of some of it, I find it even here) but you will never find the people that have experienced on the pitch and living on his own skin the life of a successful footballer and coach as Conte.

Stats always represent the past. He always made more than 20+ goals per season except last season. So it’s still relevant as stat
