Lukaku - transfer speculation | Gone

Is he entitled for loyalty bonus or will lose that?

I felt bad calling him Donkeyku on the matchday threads but not anymore
feck him.

Cringe.

I was never a fan of him on the pitch, but he’d handled himself well until now.

Rotten attitude. Won’t be missed, and his fee will probably cover most of Maguire.

Was about to ask that. Perhaps a few Lukaku boys but surely the Mourinho one's have been wiped out.
Are you serious? They lurk in the shadows like a bad smell.

Actually most of them are in the Pogba + Ole performance threads, they'lll soon emerge come season start.

What an awful professional. From not maintaining the correct fitness levels required all of last season, to Sprint Speed-gate, to going AWOL.

The only thing he is good at is licking the Special's ones arse.

Also, it's never been his sprint max speed that's the problem. It's the fact that's he gassed after 3 seconds of maintaining that top speed that's always been the problem.

If he still doesn’t report for training can we just not pay him his wages? Let’s see how Long it takes before he gets his sulky arse back.
If he keeps not turning up for training without your consent you can sue him for breach of contract

What happens if while he's training with Anderlecht he does a cruciate?

Or even something not as serious as that like a hamstring tear or pulled calf muscle?

He'd be fecked and it'd open up huge legal issues.

In al honesty what could United do? At the end of the day he is a financial asset to you, the long this goes on the lower his market value.

it just sucks when one of your former favourites turns around and shits on the club like that. Was a big fan of Lukaku in his first season especially, and even after it became clear that he wanted to leave I held no grudges because it was obvious he just didn't really fit Oles plans. But man, I would have never imagined he'd burn bridges like that. Rotten attitude, the sooner he goes the better. Damn shame.

Surely Juve & Inter watching this will think about taking a step back?? I mean, why would you take a potential risk like him, besides the fact he's crap, only for him to dish up the same all over again when a new manager comes in and decides he's surplus to requirement??

That wouldn't be a good look for any club and again he is a financial asset.
Agreed, but it is an option. More likely they just keep fining him for whatever they owe him in wages, effectively they don't pay him

Apparently reliable for Inter news.

Biasin is reliable for laughs(his articles are funny)

Not so much for inter. Better informed than most but still, only truly reliable ones in italy are sky. Everyone else is hit and miss

I've not seen a transfer request come in from him yet, I assume he will lose a lot of loyalty £££ if he does that.

Embaressing way of trying to force a move.

Yeah and in the end Lukaku gets what he want, a cut price sale. I wish other clubs would see his antics and just say "no way mate, not after how you behaved".

And that's why i bring up the possibility of sueing him. If United want to send a message, that's the best option. Mind you, it's a message that players and agents won't take well...

Selling him and not spending all the money in a midfielder and or a forward will be a disgrace.

He will be paying off Maguire. Run by mugs.

Maybe, just saw Inter fans saying he is good for Inter news.

I like how him staying away is him trying to force a move - when we are actively trying to fling the fecker out the door already.

Apparently inter are willing to go up to €75m, which is £69m at the current exchange. I guess you could just wait for the brexit fracas to lower the value of the pound until €75=£75

I feel very vindicated in my dislike of him. Crap player and crap attitude to go along with it.

Ed playing the long con.

I'm probably not the most activ member. You should name the worst ones :)

He'd be more than likely in breach of his Contract. Its a fine line to take because of he continues to go awol, you would almost terminate his contract and then sue him for damages....

That's alot for a player when your estimated market value is 75 million quid...

After Lukaku’s stunt with the sprint speeds am glad Ole did this. And people say he’s too nice.

The estimated value would be the worth of his contract and a little bit more in damages. The market value is meaningless in that context and that's why a club will almost always choose to sell the player.

Wouldn't be too hasty scoffing at this news. Someone said that SKYSPORTS corrected themselves afterwards and some tweets are saying fines incoming.
Oh nah. That was re: the first day he missed. Anything after that without permission is on him.

Apparently he was upset at being told to train with the U23s so he responds by going off and training with Anderlecht U18s, makes sense. :wenger:

This could go on for a while - situation is not sustainable any way you look at it though. United doesn't want to sell at a loss but the relationship seems to be broken beyond repair, while Lukaku really can't afford to spend a year in the U23s right before EURO 2020. Now Inter will probably try to lowball because of all this which will only complicate a potential agreement.

I think United should cut their losses, even if it means giving Lukaku what he wants.
