Tin foil hats at the ready here comes the conspiracy theories.

It wasn't a bite it was a kiss, etc.

The funny thing is the bite didn't influence anything. He will surely get banned for nothing now.

I'm gonna tweet all forwards to run up and bit the goalies then when the balls on the other end.

feck me now no club in their right mind will touch him

Do FIFA do retrospective bans? I thought that was just the Premier League?

And after the England game he was crying and said he was happy because of the criticism he's received, as if he's been hard done by... then a few days later he goes any bites someone again.

He's literally a rat.

Does he not get fed?!

I really don't understand

If i woke up tomorrow to the news that Suarez had been dropped in a pool of acid. I would be happy inside. Absolute turd

Saw this on twitter...not sure if shopped but if not then...

Twitter has exploded on this, all kinds of people I follow who have shown little interest in the WC talking about the Suarez bite. I don't think FIFA can avoid acting on this.

Probably good news for Liverpool. Surely not the kind of PR that Barca will want to buy.

Scumbag animal.

 Absolute idiot. He won't miss the rest of the world cup but should

The English media will have a field day with this allowing Suarez an even more convenient and recent excuse to leave. His reaction will be very interesting. He never learns and is never repentant for his appalling actions and behaviour on the pitch, so this will just add further fuel to rumours of him leaving. Hopefully his departure will be imminent, because as much as I like to see good players in our league, the way he conducts himself on the pitch goes beyond any desire to see the best players.

Won't have an effect on Real if they want him

All the feckin people coming here and saying he's mentally ill or something... You people are right.

He needs help and rest from football so the psychiatrists can diagnose what kind of mental detriments causing this absolute misuse of his teeth.

It's bullshit.

He got frustrated and leaned his head in tward him as they were running (could have gone for the attempted head-butt)

The Italian then threw an elbow (and a good one) at Suarez - Should also have gone.

Nothing given by the ref, so the Iti starts running around, pointing to his shoulder, which had NOTHING on it on the close up.

Bitter feckers.
RAWK.

It's not even surprising any more. He really is a horrible little stain. Hopefully he's scuppered Uruguay's chances now by getting himself banned.

This from Rawk ha ha look at his tag name how apt

Interestingly enough, I checked RAWK for reactions, mainly just out of interest to see if they are backing their player yet again. Second post I saw.

I imagine it was before video replays though, to be fair to some extent.

EDIT: Lawman :(

There has to be massive consequences but with it being a FIFA tournament you can't help but fear that it could all be swept under the carpet like so many other issues. My trust in FIFA to do the right thing in any situation borders on zero.

See Uruguay going through is bad but Suarez now likely to be banned for the rest of the World Cup - a pleasant silver lining.
