Very unreliable with the ball, I can understand why he wasn't managers favourite. His shooting is very good though.
I like Nani but from what I've read about van Gaal I think he is probably too prone to brainfartery for the Dutchman.

As a Portuguese, I have to say that I am disappointed with Nani. His goal was good as was the shot at goal near halftime. That said a really poor performance from Nani.

Put in some great whipped crosses from the right. I like when he keeps it simple like that, beats his man and whips in a cross between the defender and goalie.
He's had a good game so far, I don't know what people expect, no player can be accurate with every pass. I really don't get it. He's the only attacker they have who's trying to do something reasonable, CR has been shooting from all impossible angles but that's fine I guess.

I still remember that as a terrible refereeing mistake as Nani wasnt offside and in either case, the ball was over the line when he headed it.
Sent in some excellent crosses this second half. Not sure if it's because of Ronaldo's more regular presence in the box or because he's isolated with Beasley more this half, but I cant remember him crossing the ball once in the first half.

The amount of times he's squandered possession, shown a loose touch or been dispossessed tonight is astonishing. He's done plenty of good things, but United fans who suggest he shouldn't be criticised for the bad things he does, because he's a 'flair player' or at least attempts the extravagant need their heads checked. He did well second half, but he gave the ball away at least over ten times and probably more than anyone else on the pitch which is just unacceptable.
I loved how Lawrenson completely ignored Nani's decent spell in the second half where he beat the full-back and knocked in some great balls. He just kept going on about how the defence weren't closing down. The brain injury comment was just mean too! cnut.
