Luis Enrique to leave Barcelona at end of the season

How so?

Maybe at Madrid. But Potchetinno will have hard job pleasing Barca fans considering his Espanyol connections.

True.

I more meant from the perspective of bringing the youth through. Plus he's got a long future ahead of him so could be someone who maintains the role for longer than the normal cycle.

Because he hasn't won another champions league. 1 in 3 ain't good enough for the poor Barca sods.

The league is now back on.

It isn't with that front line. The clock is running down on them too with Messi and Suarez both 30 by the start of next season.

Poch has no chance even if you ignore the Espanyol connection. His brand of football is too dull and doesn't suit Barcelona.

Christ how come so many of you still rate Wenger so much?! :wenger:

He has been found out from a tactical perspective time and time again over the last 5-10 years. The Barca fans and President won't have him near the place in my opinion.

It's not all about a front line though. He has had to rebuild the other two sections of his team.

Valdes, Puyol, Xavi and Alves all departing. Iniesta slowly not having a big impact as he used to.

You can have the best forward line ever. But if the other aspects aren't good enough then you won't win it.

He also had balls to move Messi out wide. I think he deserves credit.

Real Madrid Galacticos didn't win one. So having best attackers doesn't mean it's a given.

Said it before. Moyesie. They've been leaking goals. They need a manager who has a dourness about him, who can organize them and make them hard to beat. A nonsense approach that will make them solid again. The offensive part of their game is already good so a manager who can organize them defensively is all they need.

He also already speaks Spanish and judging by how quickly he learned that, picking up some Catalan as well won't be a problem for him.

The work he did at Everton with such a tiny budget was fantastic. Imagine what he can do with a budget like Barca's.

Messi at the left and Neymar at the right, wide wingers crossing balls for Suarez and Andre Gomes coming from behind

That sounds like another treble winning side, tbh

You are not taking the piss are you

Craig Shakespeare has a 100% managerial record spanning 11 years since he started in 2006 at WBA. Surely he'll be a candidate.

Other than that maybe Jardim? The amount of goals Monaco are scoring could surely interest Barcelona.

Gosh, I'm a die hard Barcelona fan and yet I can't stand how pretentious this sounds.

There are a number of Barcelona fans like yourself that point to the trophy cabinet as some oversimplification - how you play matters at Barcelona. Perhaps we'll see the next coach actually recover the midfield to supply MSN

Brendan Rodgers could be the dark horse. Look what he did with Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling in front of a shit team.

Imagine what he would do with Suarez, Neymar and Messi infront of a good team. Scary thought.

He also seems to adapt to foreign countries quickly. Check out the SPL table for evidence
