Overrated. That is all.
He's 25. He's likely to enter his prime years now.Very impressed with his workrate and determination, but his dribbling technique is nothing special. Rashford at his best looked far better technically, and we all know how he looks in bad form.
He is still young though, but I reckon once he hits bad form he will be really average to watch.

This isn't the Nunez thread mate.Huge miss
This could effectively be the end of their top 4 hopes.
They're only 5 points behind United, 6 behind Chelsea and have been better than either of those teams by XG despite having an absolute nightmare start with a thousand injuries. They're not out of the top four race by a very long shot.
Because XG means everything ffs. Stats are pointless without context. They're only 5 points behind United, 6 behind Chelsea and have been better than either of those teams by XG despite having an absolute nightmare start with a thousand injuries. That Southampton game inflates their numbers a bit. They're only 5 points behind United, 6 behind Chelsea and have been better than either of those teams by XG despite having an absolute nightmare start with a thousand injuries. They're not out of the top four race by a very long shot.
Their results have been in line with their xG since August anyway. Besides, t's too early in the season for xG to be particularly meaningful, the sample size is too small.Because XG means everything ffs. Stats are pointless without context.
They have just lost their best attacker which you seem to be ignoring. They're only 5 points behind United, 6 behind Chelsea and have been better than either of those teams by XG despite having an absolute nightmare start with a thousand injuries. Meniscus tear I suppose. What sort of knee injury has you out for that long, but not needing surgery, bruised bone or something?

Looked bad based on him leaving on crutches after the game. Still could've been worse but the schedule means he misses more games than he normally would.
Not sure what we do on our left now. Jota can play there but he's not as effective as Diaz is and Mane was. Could do the back three option and play wing backs or play Robertson and Tsimikas on that side together in a 4-4-2/4-2-3-1. Salah is left footed, but he's been playing on the right ever since we signed him.
IMO Diaz has been their best player, and 10 games is a lot of games. United have had a tough schedule and besides the opening two games, looked largely pretty good (i have deleted the city game from my memory + not many teams are coming away from there with 3 points this year). Chelsea have a new coach in now so lets see how that goes. They're only 5 points behind United, 6 behind Chelsea and have been better than either of those teams by XG despite having an absolute nightmare start with a thousand injuries. They're not out of the top four race by a very long shot.
I’ve been saying for ages that Trent should become a wide forward as Bale did. He’s basically an excellent winger and not a defender. This could be the time to do it for you.
Gomez as right back and Trent right wing.

Shows how shit judging teams by XG is if you think they’re anywhere near the teams you mentioned this season. They're only 5 points behind United, 6 behind Chelsea and have been better than either of those teams by XG despite having an absolute nightmare start with a thousand injuries. They're not out of the top four race by a very long shot.
