Mentioned 'Project' which is for me another term for money now.

That's an incredible deal to do. I thought we were pushing it with 30 million but 43 puts him right up there amongst the most expensive of all time.

It would be crazy for us to match it. Have fun in Paris.

Paris Saint-Germain and São Paulo FC have reached today an agreement for the definitive transfer of Lucas Rodriguez Moura Da Silva.

The player and Paris Saint-Germain have also signed an agreement from January 2013 to July 2017. The player will join Paris Saint-Germain and his new teammates in January 2013 for the second half of the season 2012/2013.

By signing a young talent of the quality of Lucas Rodriguez Moura Da Silva, Paris Saint-Germain is already preparing the future.

Wow, €43M. Crazy money, and I thought that we were going high. Oh well, enjoy achieving well sod all really in France.

€43M

Looking forward to people blaming the club for not pursuing him further. Ridiculous money.

Stupid amount of money to pay. Has Platini spoken about PSG's spending?

pathetic really but what can you do?

Can't blame anyone for this. We should NEVER pay near 43m euros for the kid, and if someone else is willing, fair game.

I'm actually quite happy. Was never really very impressed with him and spending 35m or so seemed a lot when we already have better wingers than him.

Interesting timing especially considering the sudden surge in RVP rumours.

9th biggest deal in football history.

Bloody hell.. Crazy money.
30m burning a hole in our pockets.. who do we go after now :D

So that's over £34 million then - that's a fair bit of pressure on someone that's all potential right now, and will be based in the French league trying to reach it.

Shame PSG couldn't get involved in the Oscar transfer :nono:

What a crazy fee. God knows what Neymar will cost when he moves eventually.

For that money we was never going to match that. Rather he goes the France though as no one will care if he becomes a world better their, also with PSG's financial power he's going to find it hard to move to Spain later on down the line. The only thing I can say in regards to us is, the deal took far to long to complete.

PSG allowing him to stay in Sao Paulo must have also swung it for them.

Thats just the transfer fee. I bet his family also got a payoff as well as the agent. Then there'll be his wages on top. Ridiculous amount. We were well and truly gazumped.

Thiago Silva €42M + Ibrahimović €21M + Lavezzi €26M + Verratti €11M + Lucas Moura €43M = €143M total.
That's just mental!
