If we buy him, is he going to be Matic's understudy? Because otherwise there is no point in signing him.
Your opinion is based on having seen him play a lot? I have never seen a single game of his. But I didn't see anything in OP's youtube link to suggest he can play that role. Even Whoscored says he plays as a DM. I think Pereira would be more suited as cover for Pogba.I think Mctominay will do that job. Pogba will be the more advanced option while Fred/Herrera will link Pogba with Matic. If Pellegrini comes then he'll probably slot as cover/competition for Pogba.

Same, but since we look like signing Fred, money better spend on cheaper talented players than having luxury squad.Barella would be my choice of ‘young Serie A midfielder’.
The description of DM is very general. You can set up with 3 midfielders with all of them being more defensive minded.Your opinion is based on having seen him play a lot? Dude I was not contesting your opinion just relax man. I was just asking you since I didn't have much of an idea which I have said so in my earlier post. Whoscored just shows the position that he has played the most this season."Ti senti più un centrocampista a tutto campo o preferisci partecipare alla manovra da dietro davanti alla difesa?
Were do you prefer to play? Do you prefer to go up and down CM or do you prefer a more conservative role in front of defense
I've always said it, that I prefer the mezzala role. It gives me alot more independence to move and change tempo. In that role I can infiltrate defences and try to score the goals they ask me to score. Its far more difficult to do so from the back. I love the mezzala role however I can change the role of a mediano if needed. However my favourite role is that of a mezzala

Now if you wish to contest his opinion about himself then Id suggest you complain to him via twitter. I suggest you tell him quite frankly that Whoscored knows what's best for him and he should stop with this nonsense since it evident that he hasn't followed himself enough throughout the past years.

Di Marzio is linking him with Arsenal.
Superior. He is way more attack minded naturally than them. Yet he is one attacking player ala Giggs or Becks who can really defend. Plus he can really bear his man and is ambidextrous. We really missed out sadlyAs per Young and Valencia
Barella would be my choice of ‘young Serie A midfielder’.
It's more about we're moving on from Fellaini with this as second midfield signing after Fred if it's materialized. Can't understand the excitement, bang average midfielder. He's young and will improve but nothing to shout home about - just yet anyway.
He's still work in progress of course but he's more of a Giggs in CM then Scholes/Pirlo. He's tall, fast, hes got good technique/dribbling skills and he's got a decent but not Scholesky eye for goal. In fact his preferred role is that of a mezzala ie a CM which shifts on the flanks.
It still early days but the more time passes the more Im convinced that we're doing away with wingers altogether. I think we're going for a 3-5-1-1 system with 3 CBs, 2 attacking wingbacks, a DM, Pogba and Fred/Pellegrini covering CM and the flanks and Sanchez/Martial/Lingard behind Lukaku/Rashford. That might explain why Mou would rather keep/sign attacking wingbacks then go for the more traditional fbs (Darmian, Shaw etc)

If we're playing a midfield 3 then we need 6 x midfielders.Well he's an improvement on McTominay... But with all the Mourinho praise and hype about him it would seem like a strange move.

If that's the case, that might be Andreas Pereira done here then. He didn't help his chances by going out on loan. Now he probably is on Jose's cr*p-list.Pogba, Matic, Fred, Herrera, Pellegrini is a very good set of midfielders.
Luckhurst reported ManUtd feel SMS valuation is too high so alternatives are considered (sort of)
no brainer for €30m. Way too sensible business for us.
I’d be happy with any one (or two) of Pellegrini, Barella, Tonali, Sensi or Zaniolo.
The Italian national coach has a lot to work with going forward.
This exact comment seems to follow pretty much any United link to a player lately. We can't sign them all and they won't all be a raging success elsewhere either.Sounds too logical for us to sign him and we'll fart about all summer and he'll go elsewhere and be class. Hope I'm wrong though.
That's just SW using quotation marks because they're, you know, quoting.I love how contacted is apostrophe quoted. As if to say, "yeah.....suuuure they have".
