Heading there in the morning and feeling quietly hopeful that we might see some strong GB performances tomorrow.

Hopefully so, the pedigree and form is there.

Just a little envious of your tickets there. :)

They went to early. Ran out of steam at the end. Still a fantastic race.

I think when the eight made their charge they needed to see the German boat show more signs of slipping back than they did. Great effort though and another medal.

Good to see our rowing team stepping up and showing its pedigree.

Problem with these things is when do you make your move. Germans though were phenomenol in that race.

The Germans might have had too much of a lead by then. Germany had the form [and pace] so it was a question of how pressure would affect them.

boy did they rise to the pressure then.

Brilliant day there today. Men's 8 showed great spirit and the women's pair were just phenomenally dominant.

Great support there as well, really enjoyed the whole day.

13 British boats in 1 4 finals in the rowing, the women leading the way.

Ever so close just then, the Brits will be a bit gutted but the Danes more so, credit to the South Africans.

Some strong crews out today from Team GB. Thankfully the most senior person in today is also an Olympics fan, so I'll be able to run down to watch us in action I hope.

Imperious by the German boat there.

The worst weather of the rowing so far today though.

Definitely. Hopeful for the women's doubles and Alan Campbell is capable of something later perhpas.

I think New Zealand have this...

NZ were nailed on favourites, so it was really just a battle amongst the rest. Bronze is fine, happy with that.

Yeah the Kiwis were on another level enitrley, but a great bronze and for a time there a a silver.

It's goign ot be pretty bloody emotional if Kath and Anna can do this.

Another gold for GB's female rowers.

Oh yes, brilliant! :D

If at first you don't succeed, try, try, and try again. Just ask Kath Grainger. Look at those pictures, of her with Redgrave, great.

And the two of them [Kathering and Anna] are such good friends as well.

Rowing keeps on giving.

It does. The excitement and atmosphere is brilliant.

Oh is that what this Eton stuff is

Well done Kath. Absolutely brilliant.

Can a Northern Irishmen join them?

In football i think i home field advantage can be overstated but if you're a lone rower in a tussle for a medal and have that kind of support cheering you home, well it must be virtually impossible not to react.

Top bronze for Campbell.
