Second day of Dressage in both the Individual and Team Evening. Fox-Pitt up now and a good score could push GB into third.

The terrain of the cross-country course is pretty challenging i was hearing an interview last night.

I have an uncontrollable hatred for Dressage. The other two are grand though.

Do the horses get a medal if they win?

Tough fall for the the Belarusian just now.

Nicola Wilson in second place for GB though!

Zara's up at around a quarter to four or so.

Mary King with a tense and risky ride put herself inot first place not long ago.

50,000 watching on they say, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duchess of Cornwall.

I have watched a lot of eventing over the years and this is a challenging course. Mary King had a great ride in spite of the interruption. Can't wait to see Zara.

The rise and fall of the terrain looks testing but the major errors i've seen so far today have come at what at first glance seem unexpected places.

Zara got in the time. :) Really composed ride and High Kingdom was splendid too.

Wonderful horse that Lenamore btw.

It is surprizing how an innocent looking bit of ground can catch you out. Zara had a terrific ride. P.S.: one of the Brazilian rider's horse's name is Barbara

We're probably going to need Mary King to go clear and inside the time if we want to catch the Germans i think, such fine margins.

Bugger!

Really thought the Evening team could secure our first gold today.

Jumped every fence with Mary King i did, all credit to her for keeping us in the silver.

Individual round just about to start.

Mary King and Tina Cook stalking that podium. Best of luck.

ETA: I forgot about Zara, how on earth did i do that.

High Kingdom with great jumping there. Zara moves up one place into 12th i think.

No empty seats here, huge cheers just then.

ETA: :( :( :(

ETA 2:  The last fence, i thought she was going to get the gold.

Appalling weather they are having to cope with at the dressage, bright sunshine outside where i am and it's not so very far away.

I dint know Peter Charles switched back to GB. Havent followed showjumping for years.

A clear will see GB with the gold, or a quick enough round with four penalty points.

I think that might be the most nervewracking bit of sport I've witnessed since Moscow.

That was awesome. Fantastic tension and the big bay that Maher rode reminded me of Sprinter Sacre.

I am absolutely over the moon. I've waited my entire life to see England win a show jumping gold. (Last time 1952 for teams, never for individual). Individual gold is next up: go Nick.

Great stuff from them today. Really held their nerve.

The equestrian stuff has been a real discovery for me this Olympics. Have loved all of it bar the dressage, which I find a bit dull.

One of the GB dressage team members is called Charlotte du Jardin. Straight out of Brixton...

She is from Enfield, the borough in which i live as it happens.

Come on Charlotte!

A return to the show-jumping nerves on Wednesday.

Greenwich's Golden Garden.

Yes! :)

We've never won a medal in Dressage before today.

Six riders went clear in the first round, two of them being Nick Skelton and Scott Brash.
